Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

This project will rectify existing structural road defects. These defects include significant structural and environmental cracking, high roughness, and rutting.The work involves a asphalt treatment to a depth of 50 mm. The existing road will be milled to a depth of 50 mm and replaced with asphalt.
Rowe Stree, Collie - 065095-16WA-RTR
Drainage issues, dust issues, road alignmentRe align and relocation of existing infrastructure, drainage installation, gravel overlay, reconstruct to 6m formation, 5m 2 coat seal, kerb. From Foster Road to 400m North to cul de sac.
Climie Rd, Katannning - 065096-16WA-RTR
Climie Rd is part of a bus route. Climie Rd requires frequent grading and re sheeting because of heavy traffic negotiating the S bends and the stopping and starting of traffic at the railway crossing.Reconstruct Climie St and seal with a two coat stone seal
Elizabeth Street, Wahgunyah - 065097-16VIC-RTR
Surface storm water from road onto nature strip is not draining creating unsafe surface and poor amenity for residents.Install new kerb and channel and underground drainage for a length of 100 metres

Forrest Hills Rd, Katanning - 065100-16WA-RTR
This section of Forrest Hills Rd is part of a school bus route. Severe ruttings and corrugations exist causing safety issues from loss of thickness of gravel pavement.Gravel re sheet, grade and compact.
Cameron Park Drive, Cameron Park - 065101-16NSW-RTR
Road was constructed in 1965, and additional traffic demands have caused major pavement failures with extensive cracking, edge breaks and pothole developmentReconstruction of approximately 1.2 kilometres of road with heavy bound pavement, lane widening, intersection enhancement, and drainage upgradesTotal cost of proposed project is $1,100,002
Crawford Street, Beechworth - 065102-16VIC-RTR
Road is flooding during rainfall events due to no road drainageInstall 375 mm diameter concrete pipe for a length of 110 metres and including the installation of 3 storm water pits.
McKanes Falls Road (South Bowenfels) - 065103-16NSW-RTR
Severe potholing and rutting of the asphalt surface as well as severe edge breaking and depressions. Stormwater drainage is poor in these areas leading to the degradation of seal.Affected areas will have their seal removed and subsurface remediated. Seal will then be replaced. Shoulders will be replaced/widened in areas and roadside drainage will be improved to ensure the proper flow of stormwater.
