Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Corny Point Road (Rural road) - 065041-16SA-RTR
Sub-standard road surface with exposed limestone bedrock and subject to stormwater pooling. Typical grain route with increased tourist traffic.Re-sheeting with processed rubble to improve road surface and eathworks to improve vertical alignment.Total cost of proposed project is $502,018
Lake Coyrecup Rd, Katanning - 065043-16WA-RTR
This section of Lake Coyrecup Rd is part of a school bus route. Severe rutting and corrugations exist causing safety issues from loss of thickness of gravel pavement. Clay sub base is exposed in places causing very slippery conditions when wet.Gravel re sheet, grade and compact.
Chappell Road (Rural Road) - 065044-16SA-RTR
The rubble road surface has worn thin, stormwater has washed away the road edge, and some vegetation is encroaching onto the road reducing clearance for wide farm machinery.Trim vegetation to meet council's vegetation management plan, then re-sheet the road with crushed limestone rubble.Total cost of proposed project is $31,740
Goodes Road (Rural Road) - 065046-16SA-RTR
The rubble surface has worn out, vegetation has encroached onto the road creating access issues for wide farm machineryTrim back vegetation in line with council's vegetation management plan, then re-sheet the road with crushed limestone rubbleTotal cost of proposed project is $87,521
Mares Flat Road (rural road) - 065051-16VIC-RTR
timber bridge is old and structural members are at risk of failing. A load limit has been introduced for safety.Demolish bridge and replace with a new steel and concrete bridge.
Greenhills Rd, Katanning - 065053-16WA-RTR
This section of Greenhills Rd is part of a school bus route.Four sections have been identified where the sub base has failed. This has caused surface deformations such as rutting, depressions and potholes.The four sections need to be repaired by excavating and rebuilding with suitable material. The seal needs to be reinstated at these locations.
Bryants Gap Road (rural road) - 065054-16VIC-RTR
Concrete bridge has structural defects limiting heavy vehicles usage of bridge.Install a concrete overlay 27 metres long x 7.2 metres wide to strengthen bridge to enable heavy vehicles to use bridge.
Oates Gap Road (rural road) - 065057-16VIC-RTR
Bridge has major structural members that have failed resulting in closure of the bridge.Install new structural members to both sides of bridge to open the bridge to all traffic.
Harvey Road, Clinton - 065059-16QLD-RTR
Safety problems currently exist with the interaction between vehicular traffic, intersections, school crossings and property accesses.Pavement renewal, installation of new kerb and channel and replacement of existing footpath and installation of bicycle lane. Preparatory works for future signalised intersection and general lighting upgrade.Total cost of proposed project is $1,500,000
Good Hope Road, Yass - 065062-16NSW-RTR
This road has been identified as requiring re-sealing as part of Yass Valley Council's Annual Resealing Program. This is a Rural Road in our LGA that is in need of maintenance as it is becoming unsafe and unsuitable for drivers to utilise.Reseal the identified areas to improve the road surfaces for all road users, reduce the amount of maintenance Council is required to undertake and to assist in improving our rural roads for all residents.
