Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Current seal condition has reached its useful life and requires a reseal in order to protect and extend asset life. Reseal existing road with bitumen and aggregate including prep works on existing surface.

Woolshed Road, Beechworth - 135210-25VIC-RTR
Potholes and rutting in the road creating a rough surface, that is lacking in gravel pavement. Trim, grade existing road surface. Supply, place and compact new gravel surface to the existing width of the roadway.
Kendall Street, Wodonga, Victoria, 3690 - 054141-14VIC-RTR
Road pavement shows significant areas of failure, including shoving, cracking and potholing. Kerb and channel has displaced and holds water in some places. High maintenance costs associated with ongoing inspection and repair. Road safety associated with potholed and shoved pavement.Stage 1 (Chapple Street to Kane Road) – Full road reconstruction, including removal and replacement to 400mm depth of 3000 sqm of existing failed pavement, subgrade replacement as required, removal and replacement of approximately 135 m of kerb and channel. Install new storm water drains and inlet pits. Prepare and place initial 7mm stone seal and 40mm hotmix final seal. Stage 2 (Kane road to end of seal) - Part road reconstruction including removal and replacement to 300mm depth of 700 sqm of existing failed pavement, prepare and place initial 10mm stone seal. Supply and place 40mm hotmix final seal over full area (2100sqm)Total cost of proposed project is $466,436
Murwillumbah Road - 135213-25NSW-RTR
Replacement of failing retailing wall
Park Road, Hurstville - 135212-25NSW-RTR
Road rehabilitation for Park Road, Hurstville from Cross Street to Humphreys Lane. The asphalt surface is subsided, cracked and failed in many places with rutting and potholes on the road surface indicating subsurface failure. SCI score more than 4. Proposed treatment is 200 mm mill and fill in severely damaged roadways - 60 mm AC14 and 140mm AC20. Total area of treatment 2220 sqm.
Military Road, Mosman - 135223-25NSW-RTR
Asphalt road surface and concrete base requires renewal. Multiple cases of pothole formation and "shoving" is common. Military Road is a busy and important route for the local community and businesses. Mill and re-sheet road segment and lay new asphalt surface (50 mm AC14). Some sections of road require renewal of the concrete base as it is causing reflective cracking and pothole development on the asphalt surface.
Kerinauia Dr (Ranku Road) - Cape Fourcroy/Wurrumiyana (Rural Road) - 135174-25NT-RTR
Major road repair on Ranku Road section of approximately 240 metres which continues to wash away every wet season due to the water flow. Rectification works include raising the road levels, excavation of soft subgrade, importing of 100 mm rock from Darwin and freight, including fines for compaction, GEO Fabric and culverts 1 of X 4lm x 4lm concrete. Includes wet hire of 9 tonne loader, 14 tonne Excavator, Skid steer, Tipper Truck. Roller and Water Truck.
Halstead Street, Montello - 135209-25TAS-RTR
Seal has expired and has failed in places. Sections of pavement have also failed. Repair pavement and replace the seal.
