Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

McCombe Road, Davenport - 135116-25WA-RTR
Existing sewer pits have sunken, creating a deep depression in the road. Project to include raising pit lids, compacting the surrounding fill sufficient and replacing the asphalt.
Booran South Rd - Rural Road - Norpa district/suburb - 135178-25WA-RTR
Lack of road structure and surface material. Gravel re-sheeting.
Burracoppin South Rd (Rural Road) - South Burracoppin district/suburb - 135179-25WA-RTR
Lack of road structure and surface material. Gravel re-sheeting.
Thiele Road - 054135-14SA-RTR
Thiele Road is classified and a Rural Collector and provides a link between the Rockleigh Hills are to the South Eastern Freeway via Schenscher Road and the Monarto Interchange. Sections of Thiele Road (20 and 30) have been previously seal as a dust control measure adjacent houses. Thiele Road has a AADT of 250 and has a high maintenance cost to Council due to the quality of pavement material(low plasticity) available in the area.To rehabilitate and construct 1361m of new pavements along Thiele Road section 10 (436m) and section 30 (925m)to expand the sealed road network into the Rockleigh Hills area.
MacKenzie Court, Numurkah - 054136-14VIC-RTR
Kerb and Channel has failed, causing moisture to enter the pavement which has also caused major pavement failure.Replace kerb and channel on both sides and reinstate road pavement.
Martins Road, Chiltern - 135207-25VIC-RTR
Potholes and rutting in the road creating a rough surface, that is lacking in gravel pavement. Trim, grade existing road surface. Supply, place and compact new gravel surface to the existing width of the roadway.
Low Street, Hurstville - 135206-25NSW-RTR
The asphalt surface is subsided, cracked and failed in many places with rutting and potholes on the road surface indicating subsurface failure. SCI score more than 4. Proposed treatments are 45 mm mill and fill in some areas of parking lane and trave lane, 120 mm mill and fill in travel lanes and heavy patching in severely damaged roadways. Total area of treatment 1454 sqm.
Planthurst Road, Carlton - 135205-25NSW-RTR
The asphalt surface is subsided, cracked and failed in many places with rutting and potholes on the road surface indicating subsurface failure. SCI score more than 4. Proposed treatments are 50 mm mill and fill in some areas of parking lane and trave lane, 200 mm mill and fill in travel lanes and heavy patching in severely damaged roadways. Total area of treatment 1638 sqm.
Bruce Highway - Goorganga Plains Upgrade - Plan and Preserve Corridor
This project involves the assessment and recommendation of delivery options, as well as the identification of land and property that may be required to upgrade the Bruce Highway between the Goorganga and Myrtle Creek floodplains.The project's planning activities also include the development of a Business Case. The outcomes from these planning works inform investment decisions.
Anabranch Mail Rd - (Rural Road) - 054137-14NSW-RTR
Road is formed from natural material only and is in poor condition. Road is undulating and there is poor sight distance in several locations, including one corner which is of safety concern. Drainage is also a problem as after rain events water pools on the road and has no path to escape.Road reconstruction, reforming the road to design standards. Realignment of a section of road to increase safety and increase sight distances. Gravel overlay to improve condition of the road and reduce future maintenance requirements. Construction of overland drainage paths to allow water to drain off road surface. Installation of advisory signage at required locations. Replacement of damaged cattle grid in work area. Construction of a safe area for local school buses to pull over as this is a bus route.
