Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Remove sight distance restrictions. Install guideposts with reflectors, profile centre lines, and edge lines. Move stop or give-way lines forward. Install VAS, road feature signs, CAMs, side road signs, transverse linemarking, rigid and flexible barrier.
Safety Bay Road - 135464-25WA-RTR
The road has a high level of cracking along the wheel path, indicating fatigue in the asphalt surface. There is also some stable/structural cracking present throughout. The road will be milled filled to replace the worn surface with new asphalt
Camballin-Myroodah Road (Rural Road) - 134496-25WA-RTR
Road surface is worn and damaged in sections and the running surface is in poor condition. A damaged culvert at SLK 9.48 is required to be replaced. To reshape and re-sheet those deteriorated sections of road improve drainage where required and replace the damaged culvert with a new concrete Floodway Additional Sources of Funding is via Main Roads Western Australia - Road Project Grant $230,000 and Remote Aboriginal Access Road Grant $100,000
Fossil Downs road (Rural Road) - 134499-25WA-RTR
Road has poor material running surface and suffers significant drainage issues Will import material to reshape and re-sheet road and make improvements to drainage - noting road is on a floodplain and drainage is problematic Additional Sources of Funding is via Main Roads Western Australia - Road Project Grant $290,000 and Remote Aboriginal Access Road Grant $120,000
Calwynyardah-Noonkanbah Road (Rural Road) - 134502-25WA-RTR
Poor drainage resulting in damage to sections of the road along with significant areas of poor running surface. Reshape and re-sheet sections and improve off road drainage. siginifacnt works at SLK 46.13 to 47.33 to redirect water to single point where a stabilised floodway will be constructed. Additional Sources of Funding is via Main Roads Western Australia - Remote Aboriginal Access Road Grant $250,000
Yellowjack Road - 054205-14QLD-RTR
Access to new dump.Construction of new dump road.Total cost of proposed project is $410,000
