Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Preeces Lane (Rural Road) - 135786-25VIC-RTR
Loss of surface material from the gravel road due to traffic movements. Treatment works shall be gravel road resheeting of the road surface.
Nevens Road (Rural Road) - 135787-25VIC-RTR
This road segment has suffered a major pavement failure due to water ingress. The works include a granular stabilised patch and seal to rectify the failed area.
Sinclairs Lane (Rural Road) - 135784-25VIC-RTR
Loss of surface material from the gravel road due to traffic movements. Treatment works shall be gravel road resheeting of the road surface.
Robert Street - Turpin Road - LABRADOR - 053835-15QLD-BS
Install single lane roundabout
James Street, Narrogin - 133215-25WA-RTR
Deterioration of road pavement surface. Apply single coat seal.
Station Street, Subiaco - 135801-25WA-RTR
Install a new wombat pedestrian crossing on Station Street, relocate existing parking bays, construct a median island to prevent unsafe U-turn movements, narrow Station Street to reduce traffic speeds approaching the roundabout, relocate the existing pram ramp to provide safer pedestrian access and Hood Street median modification to align with the pedestrian crossing. The scope also includes removing existing granite pavers on the western side of Station Street and replacing them with concrete pavers, along with associated kerbing, paving, and minor civil works.
Southern Bypass Road, rural road - 135819-25WA-RTR
Reinstate formation & Gravel Re-sheeting (150mm) and renew existing drainage at floodways
TIMOR BROMLEY ROAD, timor - 135817-25VIC-RTR
Part of the reseal program - chipseal will be laid on top of existing old seal. chainage 660 - 2398
BET BET CREEK ROAD, Bet Bet - 135812-25VIC-RTR
Reseal roads with chip seal in line with renewal program.
Derby Street, Penirth - 135831-25NSW-RTR
Derby Street is a Major Collector road which, according to Council records, was constructed circa 1980. The road has experienced with localised numerof failures with rutting, crocodile cracking and failed patches of entire carraigeway due to the incresed traffic which resulted the significance development along Derby Street. It is proposed to replace the subgrade material with the quality selected fill and provide a EME2 deeplift asphalt base with 50mm AC14 asphalt wearing surface. Below is a list of the works proposed to 550m length of road by 12m wide: 250mm selected fill 180mm EME2 base + 50mm AC14 wearing surface
