Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Shiel Street, North Melbourne - 135774-25VIC-RTR
Asphalt Roadway Renewal. Defects include wide ranging cracking (longitudinal, transverse), depressions in the carriageway including rutting along wheel paths, and pavement failing in sections. Scope of works, profile: 50 mm with 100mm deep lift on the South Side, resurface: full width with 50 mm size 10mm aggregate wearing course and 50mm size 14mm aggregate base course in deep lift sections with Greenpave U dense-graded Hot Mix Asphalt, including Green coloured surface treatment within the bicycle lane at the roundabout. Asphalt Roadway Renewal. Defects include wide ranging cracking (longitudinal, transverse), depressions in the roadway, rutting along wheel paths at approach to intersections and appearance of fatigue and pavement failing in sections. Scope of works profile: 50 mm with 100mm deep lift in sections, resurface: full width with 50 mm size 10mm aggregate wearing course and 50mm size 14mm aggregate base course in deep lift sections with Greenpave U dense-graded Hot Mix Asphalt, including Green coloured surface treatment within the bicycle lane on both sides. Jones Street, Wallaroo - 135776-25SA-RTR
Stabilisation of in-situ material to increase pavement strength and longevity. Minor stormwater improvements, new kerbing installation and a final two coat spray seal finish. Road is part of Council's 5-Year Transport Plan.
Back Road (Rural Road) - 135782-25VIC-RTR
Unsealed road resheeting due to surface gravel loss from road traffic.
Back Eddington Road (Rural Road) - 135799-25VIC-RTR
The existing road pavement was badly rutted in the wheel paths at this location, pavement failures had developed from water ingress, the repair works include a granular stabilised patch and seal to repair the failures.
Davies Road (Rural Road) - 135783-25VIC-RTR
Loss of surface material from the gravel road due to traffic movements. Treatment works shall be gravel road resheeting of the road surface.
Baringhup West Road (Rural Road) - 135798-25VIC-RTR
The existing road pavement has failed at this intersection location due to the turning movement of heavy vehicles. The proposed works include removal of the existing failed pavement to a depth of 150 mm and replacement with asphalt.
Lewis Road (Rural Road) - 135785-25VIC-RTR
Loss of surface material from the gravel road due to traffic movements. Treatment works shall be gravel road resheeting of the road surface.
