Project description

Second Avenue is a rural Regional Road according to Council records, was constructed circa 1980. The road has experienced with localised numerous of failures with rutting, edge break, crocodile cracking and failed patches of entire carraigeway due to the incresed traffic which resulted the significance development in llandilo area. It is proposed to replace the subgrade material using stabilisation of existing pavement to the subgrade additional imported quality DGB20 and provide a 50mm asphalt wearing surface. Below is a list of the works proposed to 800m length of road by 8m wide: 300mm depth stabilisation with 50mm AC14 wearing surface
