Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Pitman Avenue (Buronga) - 138244-26NSW-RTR
This project will upgrade the existing intersection to a small diameter roundabout to improve road safety outcomes by reducing crash severity. Extent will include all four legs of intersection (surfacing/profile works) and include small section of new kerb/pavement widening. Traffic calming measures and control devices such as speed cushions, traffic islands, signage and line marking included in project.

Problem being addressed: The current condition of the seal is very poor. To reinstate impervious membrane and skid resistance wearing course, reinstate line marking to improve safety. Work proposed: Rehabilitation of failed pavement and crack sealing.

Oak St, Andergrove - 138252-26QLD-RTR
Improve pavement condition, pavement drianage and surface drainage New Kerb and Channel on the Southern side of Oak St and Pavement Rehabilitation from CH150-930
Alfred Street, Charleville - 138243-26QLD-RTR
Alfred Street rehabilitate and overlay pavement. Proposed work is to construct Roundabout and associated AC overlay at Alfred St and Wills St intersection. The additional funding is sourced from TIDS.
Archers Road (Rural Road) - 138262-26WA-RTR
The deterioration of the existing gravel surface due to loss of surface material over time, as well as improving drainage and enhancing rideability and vehicle safety, particularly for the increasing heavy vehicle traffic. Gravel re-sheet to 200 mm compacted over a 9-10 m formation with a 7 m wide pavement. These works allow for verge mulching, drain reformation and cleaning, culvert extensions, correction of crossfall/camber, guide post and signage replacement/renewal.
Pintharuka West Rd (rural road) - 138003-26WA-RTR
The road is a school bus route and the surface is corrugated and potholed, vegetation on verges obscuring vision. Improving surface ride ability and drainage will provide a safe road for road user. Improve sightlines, complete vegetation management, reform the subgrade and gravel re-sheet to a thickness of 100 mm with imported material to give a running width of 8 m and an overall width of 10 m.

Obst Road, Bugle Hut - 138249-26SA-RTR
Rubble Road is nearing end of life with no rubble left Road Pavement to be increased to 200mm thickness. The Road is to be crowned to deal with drainage Issues. The additional funding source is Council.
