Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Lincoln Road, Mooroolbark - 066272-16VIC-RTR
The existing sealed road has deteriorated significantly, with rutting, cracking and potholes evident. Rehabilitation of the road surface is necessary. The roadway is a local collector road in an urban environment and carries significant traffic volumes for the area. Upgrading of the road will improve local amenity and safety of access for road users.Reconstruct failed sections of the road and provide an asphalt overlay. Reconstruct failed kerb and channel and construct new kerb and channel and drainage. Provide delineated turn lanes, bicycle lanes and indented parking and construct associated footpath along the road. 280 metres of the road is a shared boundary with Maroondah City Council and the project is being delivered in conjunction with that Council.Total cost of proposed project is $828,456
Melba Highway, Yarra Glen - 066273-16VIC-RTR
Access into the service road is informal crushed rock construction. Delineation of the right of way is unclear. Entry to the service road is occasionally obstructed by traffic exiting Armstrong Grove. Esther Crescent, Mooroolbark - 066276-16VIC-RTR
Local residents have expressed concern in the past regarding driver behaviour, speeding traffic and amenity in Ether Crescent and Diane Crescent. Traffic Data collected has shown 70-75% of traffic is travelling above the 50km/h speed limit, with the 85th percentile travelling at 61km/hr. Esther Crescent and Diane Crescent have been observed to be used as a vehicle short cut to by pass Bellara Drive and Manchester Road intersection. The road parallel, Lee Anne Crescent in Croydon has speed cushions which may have directed a number of vehicles onto Esther Crescent. Consultation has occurred with 72% or residents supporting Local Area Traffic Management (speed and through traffic deterrent) treatments on the their street.Construction of traffic management devices in the form of one raised intersection, two raised pavements and one roundabout

The Warburton Rail Trail is a popular cycling and walking trail between Lilydale and Warburton. It crosses Beresford Road approximately 10 metres west of Creek Road.
