Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Dalrymple Road (Rural road) - 066733-16TAS-RTR
Dalrymple Road has numerous sections that exhibit substandard alignment (bot vertical and horizontal). Pavement crossfall is excessive at many locations and this road also has a narrow carriageway on average only 4.7metres wide with substandard shoulder widths.Proposed works are to be undertaken on Dalrymple Road from the junction with East Arm Road, north 1.8km to the junction with The Glen Road. The proposed works will include sections of reconstruction and widening, resealing and /or heavy patching of pavement with the aim of improving the overall road condition and safety.Total cost of proposed project is $555,397
Elsegood Road (rural road) - 066734-16WA-RTR
The seal has degraded introducing potholes and making the carriageway unsafe.It is proposed to seal to a 3.6 metre wide carriageway with a two coat seal.
Wallambin Road (rural road) - 066735-16WA-RTR
The seal has degraded introducing potholes and making the carriageway unsafe.It is proposed to seal to a 4.9 metre wide carriageway with a two coat seal.
Lewis Road (rural road) - 066736-16WA-RTR
The seal has degraded introducing potholes and making the carriageway unsafe.It is proposed to seal to a 3.7 metre wide carriageway with a two coat seal.
Hillwood Road, Hillwood. - 066737-16TAS-RTR
The road is a sealed collector road which is a school bus route, residential access and is also used for primary producer heavy vehicle access to local farms. The road is narrow, has no kerb and channel and there is no shared use pathway.The works involve widening the road,constructing kerb and channel works and a shared use pathway.Total cost of proposed project is $731,501
Cunderdin-Wyalkatchem Road (rural road) - 066738-16WA-RTR
The drainage under the road has deteriorated through age and salt damage to the concrete culverts.It is proposed to replace the culverts with stronger pipe culverts and install rock lined batters and aprons. Sidetracks will be constructed around culverts to install and improve access for maintenance.
Malpas Trenton Road (rural road) - 066739-16QLD-RTR
The road cannot be used once the area has had 20 millilitres of rain.Supply and place gravel pavement for 8 kilometres.
Tammin-Wyalkatchem Road (rural road) - 066741-16WA-RTR
The drainage under the road is badly damaged through salt damage to the reinforced concrete culverts.It is proposed to replace the single barrel culverts with double barrel and install rock lined batters and aprons.
Browning Road (Rural Road) - 066742-16WA-RTR
The existing road surface has cracked and is starting to pothole due to it reaching the end of it's useful life. A reconstruction and widening is required to ensure that the road surface can continue to be driven on safely.The full road width to be reconstructed.
Burdett Road (Rural Road) - 066743-16WA-RTR
