Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

The existing causeway is old and sections of concrete have failed. The length of the causeway is 15.8 metres and the width is 3.1 metres.It is proposed to renew the causeway.

Bluff River Road (Rural Road) - 066698-16NSW-RTR
The existing causeway is old and sections of concrete have failed. The length of the causeway is 12 metres and the width is 3.2 metres.It is proposed to renew the causeway.
Bowers Street - 066700-16QLD-RTR
The existing 7.0m wide bitumen sealed pavement is showing signs of detoriation from heavy use by commercial vehicles accessing the Mareeba industrial area.The proposed works include the reconstruction of the road pavement to improve it's load bearing capacity for use by heavy commercial transport.
Chettle Road - 066701-16QLD-RTR
The existing 6.5 m wide bitumen sealed pavement is showing signs of detoriation from heavy use by commercial vehicles accessing the sugar mill and landfill.The proposed works include the reconstruction of the road pavement to improve it's load bearing capacity for use by heavy commercial transport.
Cunningham Street, Merredin - 066702-16WA-RTR
Surface failure correction, the bitumen surface is failing due to cracking and rutting, risking failure of the seal. Potholes have commenced formation and pose traffic hazards.Ashphalt 560 Meters.
Gamenya Avenue, Merredin - 066703-16WA-RTR
Corrections to surface failure, Rated network 5 RAV. The seal is failing because of age failure of the binder. The road surface is cracked and rutted due to the high number of heavy vehicles entering the grain receival centre.Reseal the road with Asphalt
Nangeenan North Road, Nukarni (Rural Road) - 066705-16WA-RTR
Correction of Road Surface, the road is cracked and pot holes are prevalent over this section of the road. The sealed edge has deteriorated and causes roads safety issuesRepair defects and Reseal the road
Hendrick Road, Tandegin. (Rural road) - 066706-16WA-RTR
Surface Correction; current sheeting condition is poor requiring increased maintenance costs. Drainage is in poor condition causing wet spots on the road surface decreasing safety to the road users. The road is rated to network 4 RAVRe-shape road, re-establish drainage, vegetation clearance and Gravel Re sheeting to a depth of 150 mm x 7 metres wide
Muntadgin Road, Muntadgin. (rural road) - 066707-16WA-RTR
Surface correction, The road is rated for a network 4 RAV, the road surface is predominately sand and clay that potholes and ruts, the road has inadequate cross fall and doesn't drain creating the formation of large wet spots that can cause heavy vehicles serious safety concerns by punching through these areas; bogging the vehicle and causing loss of control. The damage to the road is significant rendering it in-passable.Re-shape the road, gravel sheet to a depth of 150 mm, increase the width of 10 metres and re-establish the roadside drainage.
