Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Mount Lindesay Road (Rural Road) - 066722-16NSW-RTR
The pavement condition is poor, there is insufficient road width, the seal is heavily cracked seal and it has poor drainage. The length of the road is 3100 metres and the width is 8 metres.It is proposed to reconstruct and widen the road.Total cost of proposed project is $2,174,158
Julia Creek Taldora Road, Julia Creek - 066723-16QLD-RTR
When the road has had 15 mililitres of rain it is unable to be used due to the road being mostly black soil. The proposed works will allow cattle transport and station owners to have access to the road during the wet season. This will also reduce the maintenance costs for Council.Supply and place gravel pavement 6 metres wide and then two coat bitumen seal 4 metres wide for 16 kilometres long.Total cost of proposed project is $1,000,000
Wyalkatchem-Southern Cross Road (rural road) - 066724-16WA-RTR
There has been a deterioration and wear of the road shoulders with large drop offs evident.The shoulders of the road will be reconditioned. This involves removal of verge vegetation as required, shoulders being widened and table drains being reformed. This work will achieve a 9.5 metre wide carriageway and a seal width of 7 metres.Total cost of proposed project is $204,319
Punchbowl Road, Julia Creek - 066725-16QLD-RTR
To continue the seal of the road as when the road has had 15 mililitres of rain it is unable to be used due to the road being black soil and gravel. The proposed works will allow cattle transport and station owners to have access to the road during the wet season. This will also reduce the maintenance costs for Council.Supply and place gravel pavement 6 metres wide and two coat bitumen seal 4 metres wide for 4.5 kilometres.
Tammin-Wyalkatchem Road (rural road) - 066726-16WA-RTR
There has been deterioration and wear of the road shoulders with large drop offs evident.It is proposed to widen and primerseal the shoulders to achieve a 10 metre wide carriageway and improve road safety for oncoming traffic.Total cost of proposed project is $89,944
Nembudding South Road (rural road) - 066727-16WA-RTR
Several sections of the bitumised road have failed leaving extensive areas of potholes and some soft patches in the road.It is proposed to reseal both sections with a 10mm cutback bitumen seal.Total cost of proposed project is $94,719
Wyalkatchem North Road (rural road) - 066728-16WA-RTR
Several sections of the bitumised road have failed leaving extensive areas of potholes and degraded seal edges.It is proposed to reseal with a 10mm cutback bitumen seal.Total cost of proposed project is $66,057
Nelia Bunda Road, Julia Creek. - 066729-16QLD-RTR
When the road has had 15 mililitres of rain it is unable to be used due to the road being mostly black soil with some gravel. This will also reduce the maintenance costs for Council.Supply and place gravel pavement 6 metres wide and then two coat bitumen seal 4 metres wide for 4 kilometres long.
Parsons Road (rural road) - 066730-16WA-RTR
There has been excessive deterioration of the unsealed pavement, inadequate base course and exposed sub base leading to an unsafe carriageway, ineffective drainage and severe corrugations.It is proposed to widen and gravel sheet, clean out the side drains and construct extra side drains to prevent further water erosion. The basecourse will be sheeted with 200mm of material, water bound and compacted to achieve a minimum 6 metre wide carriageway.Total cost of proposed project is $36,821
Yorkrakine West Road (rural road) - 066731-16WA-RTR
The shoulders on the road have degraded causing damage to the seal and leading to an unsafe carriageway and ineffective drainage.It is proposed to clear the shoulders of vegetation, import gravel and recondition the shoulders to achieve a carriageway that is 10 metres in width.Total cost of proposed project is $71,376
