Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Piambra Road (rural road) - 068720-16NSW-RTR
The surface of Piambra Road in the proposed work location is unsealed and does not have sufficient road base, which results in potholes and ruts, which reduces the speed at which vehicles may travel along the road. Furthermore, the existing surface becomes slippery during and after rainfallConstructing a road base over the existing alignment by adding up 300mm of compacted road base material, to a width of 8.0m. Bitumen sealing the surface to a width of 6.0m. Total length of works 1.4km.
Lawson Park Road (rural road) - 068721-16NSW-RTR
The road is bitumen sealed and in the work location the width of the bitumen seal is narrow and less than 4 metres in width. The road shoulder in the work location is narrow and there are many section of bitumen edge 'drops' of greater than 50mm. Furthermore, the surface of road shoulder and edge of bitumen is rough and hazardous to motorists.The work proposed includes reconstructing and widening the road shoulder by adding up to 200mm of road base to a width of 2.0 metres on both sides of the road. The widened road shoulder will be bitumen sealed. The total length of widening is 1.5km
Mandurah Terrace, Mandurah - 068738-16WA-RTR
Mandurah Terrace is showing significant pavement failure, with many areas of crocodile cracking and pavement depression. Without appropriate action, at some time the surface would break away leaving significant potholes.Rehabilitation of Mandurah Terrace from Stewart Street to Peel Street. Includes cycle lanes, median islands and landscaping. Strip away 35 mm of existing road pavement and replace with 30 mm of asphalt.Total cost of proposed project is $257,446
Hudson Way, South Hedland - 068739-16WA-RTR
Extensive cracking and pot holes. Road due for reseal to protect the underlying pavement.Supply, delivery and construction/laying of asphaltic concrete.Total cost of proposed project is $21,744
Bluegrass Road, Cunnamulla (Rural) - 068742-16QLD-RTR
Sections of road require gravel resheeting to enable all weather access to make it trafficable.Gravel sheeting to sections of road.
Jobs Gate Road, Cunnamulla (Rural) - 068743-16QLD-RTR
Road becoming rutted and gravel unravelled.Medium formation grade required to incorporate and blend extra material from the flanks to establish the correct profile.
Yerrel Road, Eulo (Rural) - 068745-16QLD-RTR
Road becoming rutted and gravel unravelled.Medium formation grade required to incorporate and blend extra material from the flanks to establish the correct profile.
Blackgate Road, Yowah (Rural) - 068747-16QLD-RTR

Road pavement has failed due to poor subgrade and has become a hazard to road users and the general publicIt is proposed to cement stabilize 300 millimetres of existing road pavement then add a 10 millimetre bitumen seal
