Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Yarrawonga Road, Cassilis - 068761-16NSW-RTR
Thin gravel pavement, poor school bus access and safety during wet weather.Rehabilitate and upgrade the existing road pavement. Provide gravel overlay of 75mm/100mm thickness with approved selected natural material for the length of road and shape with minimum crossfall of 6%. Undertake roadside drainage improvements (provision of table drains, tail out drains etc.) as required. Length of road to be upgraded 7.5km and 6 metres wide, total seal area 45,000m2.
Pembroke Road, Merriwa - 068762-16NSW-RTR
Thin gravel pavement, poor school bus access and safety during wet weather.Rehabilitate and upgrade the existing road pavement. Pavement failure due to heavy vehicular traffic and tree roots.vegetation clearing, remove tree roots, pavement repairs and reseal.
Bolong Road, Bolong - 068765-16NSW-RTR
The existing road is too narrow and needs widening.Widen and seal shoulders to 2.5m wide on both sides of the road.

Burgess Drive - 068767-16SA-RTR
unsealed road is pot holed and is a dust nuisance to nearby schools and amenities. the traffic increase deemed unsafe without upgrade works being undertaken.upgrading from unsealed to sealed to alleviate dust issues for adjacent high school, special school and major shopping precinct. This is the main entrance to newly constructed stadium, the works will alleviate congestion of traffic and provide safe thoroughfare for users of facility. Kerbing and stormwater upgrades are also included.Total cost of proposed project is $450,000
Glen Rowan street - 068792-16SA-RTR
Pavement badly deteriorated and sections are crumbling under traffic loads. Sections of kerb and gutter and footpaths in poor condition and require reconstruction.Reconstruct road pavement, seal, kerb and gutter and footpaths.Total cost of proposed project is $568,000

Church Street, Charters Towers - 068797-16QLD-RTR
There is pavement failure at the Hodgkinson Street junction and the seal has deteriorated over the whole section.It is proposed to excavate, remove and replace the pavement and seal with an asphalt overlay.
