Project description
The final 500m of Sir Hudson Fysh Drive (commencing 3.614km from the intersection of Alice Street and Sir Hudson Fysh Drive and Alice Street)the section is bitumen sealed with a 10m width and provides motorists with the only access to the Cloncurry Airport. Due to the lack of drainage and consistent traffic, this section of road requires upgrades to road width and surface as well as existing drainage infrastructure.Upgrading/rehabilitation of 500m of Sir Hudson Fysh Drive - works to include road widening, resurfacing and restoration/rehabilitation to existing culverts and drainage infrastructure. Works will consist of an improved drainage system to suit this section of road (with additional culverts or replacement/upgrade to existing culverts if required)and associated infrastructure.
