Project description

The Regional Road Safety Package is a package of projects in regional Western Australia targeted at improving road safety and includes road widening, shoulder sealing, new overtaking lanes, intersection improvements, curve improvements and construction of new bridges.

Benefits

The package across regional Western Australia is expected to provide significant safety improvements for all road users.

Funding

The Australian Government has committed $44.2 million, with the WA Government providing $11.1 million.

Timetable

Construction on the first project commenced in December 2017, with all projects completed in Septemner 2021.
