Project description
Poor drainage due to lack of material and deformation, high maintenance effort, poor standard rough surface difficult to negotiate due to being slippery in wet conditions. The road has become freight route due due to intensive farming activities.Construct and seal 4.6 kilometres of road to the following specification; formation width - 11.0m, sealed width - 8.0m, seal type - 14/7mm, standard cross-section with 3% falls, pavement thickness - approximately 300mm compacted, pavement material - PM40 rubble locally sourced, compaction - 95% sub base, 97% basecourse, linemarking - centreline, turning radius at entrances and intersections 15 metres, road design in accordance with AUSTROADS guidelines, signing & guideposts in accordance with Australian Standards and 75mm Asphaltic Concrete 20 metres legs on property entrances and road intersections
