Six Mile Road, (Rural road) - 052088-14WA-RTR
This portion of Six Mile Road is a loose inclined gravel road surface that creates dust issues for the 3 houses that front the gravel road, has Poor stopping distance for vehicles travelling down the hill and thirdly poor road resistance for trucks travelling up the hill, causing rutting, corrugations and vehicles to get stuck on the road. For the 300 metre section of road being sealed, the gravel road requires shaping and forming. It then requires water binding and sealing with a 10mm stone and bitumen primer seal.
Scotts Brook Road, Boyup Brook - 052089-14WA-RTR
This portion of Scotts Brook Road is a narrow sealed road (5.2metres wide) with little or no shoulders. This project will see the forming up of 1.2 metre shoulders each side of the road and the sealing of a 300mm wide strip each side of the road.Increase pavement formation width to 9 metres and provide a 300mm bitumen edge to each side of the existing pavement.
Carruth Road, Torrens Park - 052090-14SA-RTR
The kerb and water table on both sides of Carruth Road are displaced both vertically and horizontally due to soil movement and tree growth. The road pavement is significantly deformed due to the reactive sub-grades in the area. Carruth Road is classified as a collector road with a vehicle traffic volume of 2,377 vehicles per day.It is proposed to replace all of the kerbing on both sides of Carruth Road. The kerb replacement will be followed by the removal of the road seal and pavement. The road will be replaced with a 100mm Asphalt pavement followed with 40mm Asphalt seal. The project includes the replacement of an existing roundabout at the intersection of Barrelder Road and Carruth Road.
McClure Road Rural Road - 052091-14WA-RTR
The subject section of McClure Road is well past the end of its serviceable life. The road structure has severely deteriorated under modern traffic loads. Additionally, the seal width of 3.6 metres is inadequate for the traffic the road carries. Longitudinal drainage is also inadequate and since the area is low lying and wet this has further contributed to the road's failure.Widening and lifting of the road pavement to accommodate a wider seal and to lift the road structure out of the wet subgrade conditions. Improvements to longitudinal drainage to ensure the new road pavement can remain dry. Importation of new pavement material and application of a hot bitumen seal to a minimum width of 6.2 metres.Total cost of proposed project is $180,000
Somers Road Rural Road - 052092-14WA-RTR
The subject section of Somers Road has reached the end of its serviceable life and is severely cracked and failing under modern traffic loads. Additionally, the existing seal width of approximately 5.4 metres is inadequate for the traffic it carries. Longitudinal drainage is also inadequate in a low lying wet area.Widening and lifting of the road structure to lift it out of the wet subgrade. Improvements to longitudinal drainage. Importation of new pavement material and application of a hot bitumen seal to a minimum width of 6.4 metres.Total cost of proposed project is $242,000
Balmoral Crescent - 052094-14VIC-RTR
The road pavement and kerb and channel has reached the end of its useful life. Minor drainage improvements are required to protect the road pavement. It is proposed to patch and repair the road pavement, provide new kerb and channel, new crossovers and minor drainage improvements.Total cost of proposed project is $430,000
Devon Street - 052095-14VIC-RTR
The road pavement and kerb and channel has reached the end of its useful life. Minor drainage improvements are required to protect the road pavement. It is proposed to patch and repair the road pavement, provide new kerb and channel, new crossovers and minor drainage improvements.Total cost of proposed project is $440,000
Toodyay West Road (Rural) - 052096-14WA-RTR
This section of Toodyay West road has deteriorated. It consists of broken edges, potholes and cracking of the pavement surface requiring continual maintenance to keep the road to a safe standard. It is proposed to repair the broken edges and reseal this section of roadTotal cost of proposed project is $102,074
Drummond Street, Toodyay - 052097-14WA-RTR
This section of Drummond Street consists of aggregate stripping and potholes. The road requires continual visits from the maintenance crew to keep the road to a suitable condition. The work proposed is surface correction and an asphalt overlay to bring the section of road up to an improved standard.
Pinteebakana Road (Rural Road) - 052098-14NSW-RTR
Gravel Road very rocky and a crest of hill making a hazardous area and dusty, can be slippery when wet due to rocks.Nominal Overlay of 50mm gravel, shape, compact and seal to a width of 8 metres.
