Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Wattle Road (rural Road) - 117991-21NSW-RTR
This road is relatively narrow for the traffic it accommodates and requires shoulder widening to increase safety and provide for reduced maintenance of edge drops. Several complaints are raised to Council every year regarding its narrow nature and querying its widening program.The works to be undertaken is shoulder widening of 1500mm on each shoulder of Wattle Road for a finished seal width of 8.5m overall. This will allow 2 full width running lanes and adequate sealed shoulder.Total cost of proposed project is $160,000
Burraga Road, Burraga - 117987-21NSW-RTR
Road Pavement has deteriorated and requires stabilisation strengthening to safely accommodate for increase in heavy vehicle haulage traffic movements.Full rehabilitation of existing road pavement and shoulders. Correct pavement cross-fall and longitudinal gradients and rehabilitate the total 21.00km of road pavement. Improve drainage, guide post, signage and provide two coat bitumen seal and line marking.Total cost of proposed project is $4,002,125
Barrikira Road (rural road) - 118000-21NT-RTR
Road is a narrow six meter flat bladed track with poor line of sight and minimal passing opportunities for road usersWiden road to eight meters realigning and removing trees. Complete full formation and compaction using on situ material won from road widening and table drains.
Harvey Highway, Hilltown - 117998-21SA-RTR
The bridge is at the end of it life and requires replacement due to crackingBridge is being replaced with box culverts to widen.Total cost of proposed project is $460,000
Armstrong Lane (Gracemere) - 117999-21QLD-RTR
Removing the ongoing maintenance required to maintain the existing gravel surface.Place 100mm layer of pavment and apply a 2 coate sprayed bituminous surfacing - C170 BitumenTotal cost of proposed project is $86,000
Bascombe Rocks Road (rural road) - 117996-21SA-RTR
Road surface requiring replacement due to recent flooding.Peg and form road surface. Sheet 5 kilometres using crushed limestone rubble. Spread, shape and compact.
Tulloh Street, Willoughby - 117988-21NSW-RTR
Existing pavement has deteriorated. Cracks have developed along the road pavement with the surface stone stripping requiring resurfacingSurface area of approximately 1450sqm to be removed and replaced with 50mm AC14 asphalt. Approximately 50sqm of heavy patchingTotal cost of proposed project is $63,040
Ragonesi Road, Alice Springs NT 0870 - 118001-21NT-RTR
To prevent properties flooding due to poor drainagePropose to construct storm water soakage pits along Ragonesi Road for 200mTotal cost of proposed project is $450,000
Yarrawonga Road (Rural Road) - 117995-21NSW-RTR
Pavement at the end of its life, widen road formation to cater for Heavy vehicles.Widen road to 6.5m seal, 8.5m road formation, rip and shape and compact existing pavement, overlay with 100mm Dense Graded Base 20mm stone size
Barker Street, Kingsford - 118003-21NSW-RTR
Road pavement failure evidenced extensive crocodile cracking, rutting, pothole patchings and road depression.120mm asphalt heavy patching along failed areas and 50mm resurfacing entire road width. Reinstatement of line marking.
