Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Girral Road (Rural Road) - 103438-19NSW-RTR
Girral Road has a 6m wide gravelled surface. This section has extensive gravel loss with other failures such as rutting and potholes.It is planned to regravel the sections which have gravel loss with 75mm compacted gravel. The table drains and mitre drains will also be restored.
Oxley St, Bourke - 103477-19NSW-RTR
Current seal is over ten years old and needs a reseal.A forty millimeter asphalt over lay will be installed to provide better quality to the road surface in the Central Business District Area.
Barrack Street, Merredin - 103449-19WA-RTR
Surface correction, the current asphalt surface is aged, cracked and failingreseal with the application of a corrector and 25 mm of asphalt
Fifth Street, Merredin - 103452-19WA-RTR
current spray seal is failing and constantly requires patchingreseal with the application of a corrector and 25 mm of asphalt
Horwood Street, Whyalla - 103466-19SA-RTR
Excessive crocodile cracking present. Surface profile of road is poor shape. Road shows significant deterioration on surface, adjacent kerbs and associated spoon drains.Council is proposing full width profiling along with associated pavement patching. Kerb and watertable to be replaced in its entirety and a 40mm hotmix overlay to shape the surface to a more appropriate crown design.
Goodman Street, Whyalla - 103471-19SA-RTR
Surface has significant deterioration. Various potholes consistent across entire road segment surface. Patches from previous repair work have sagged and the existing surface is rough/rutting making it hazardous to drive on. There is also significant surface cracking evident.Works to rectify include full width profile. Replace surface with 40mm hot mix asphalt. Some pavement patching works to be done during hot mixing. Areas of kerb and watertable to be repaired.
Hockey Street, Whyalla - 103472-19SA-RTR
Surface has crocodile cracking in various areas. Poles have began to sag and cause a bumpy drive. Watertable and kerbing is in extremely poor condition in some areas. Edges of road are in poor condition. Beyond repairable in some areas and already consists of excessive patches.Propose doing full width profile. Reinstate new asphalt using 40mm hotmix. Kerbing to be replaced.
Kittel Street, Whyalla - 103473-19SA-RTR
Rutting evident on surface, various areas with patching. Issues with cross fall for water drainage - this area appears to have been patched various times, likely water damage to road. Cracking of top surface evident.Repair road using full width area profiling. Replace with 40mm hot mix. Water table and kerbing repairs in isolated areas. Road profile needs to consider water run off.Total cost of proposed project is $138,483

Rankin Street, Kondinin - 102444-19WA-RTR
Bitumen and pavement failuresReseal with asphalt, minor pavement repairs and new kerbing.
