Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Kadnook - Connewirrico Road (rural road) - 103440-19VIC-RTR
This is a heavily traffic truck route serving a local quarry. The road has a narrow seal and poor vertical and horizontal alignment. Road pavement is ageing and exhibiting a rough surface.Reconstruct road pavement and widen seal to minimum 6.0 metres. Improve vertical and horizontal alignment. Existing road pavement to be ripped, widened, resheeted and sealed.Total cost of proposed project is $305,399
Ozenkadnook Mortat Road (rural road) - 103443-19VIC-RTR
Narrow seal on bend. Also, pavement is failing, has lost its shape and is rough.Widen seal to minimum 6.0 metres to improve safety. Rip and and widen existing road pavement. Resheet pavement and seal.Total cost of proposed project is $228,881
Alleena Road (Rural Road) - 103423-19NSW-RTR
Alleena Road has a 6m side gravelled surface. This section of Alleena Road has extensive gravel loss with other failures such as rutting and potholes. It is not safe for vehicles to travel along this section.It is planned to regravel the sections which have extensive gravel loss with 75mm compacted gravel. The projects involves traffic control, scarifying the surface, reshaping the road, adding gravel, compacting and restoring the table drains and mitre drains.
Thulloo Road (Rural Road) - 103424-19NSW-RTR
Thulloo Road has a 6m wide gravelled surface. This section has extensive gravel loss with other failures such as rutting and potholes.It is planned to regravel the sections which have gravel loss with 75mm compacted gravel, and wet grade the sections which have loss of shape. The table drains and mitre drains will also be restored.
Fiegerts Lane (Rural Road) - 103428-19NSW-RTR
Fiegerts Lane has a 6m wide gravelled surface. This section has extensive failures such as rutting and potholes.It is planned to wet grade and restore table drains and mitre drains.
O'Briens Lane (Rural Road) - 103436-19NSW-RTR
O'Briens Lane has a 6m wide gravelled surface. This section has extensive gravel loss with other failures such as rutting and potholes.It is planned to regravel the sections which have gravel loss with 75mm compacted gravel, and wet grade the sections which have loss of shape. The table drains and mitre drains will also be restored.
Tallimba Road (Rural Road) - 103441-19NSW-RTR
This section has extensive shoulder drop offs. As the seal width is only 6 metres it is unsafe for large vehicles such as Type 1 A-Doubles and modular B-Triples to pass other vehicles. This puts a great strain on edges and leads to failures.It is planned to clean the drains, add gravel as required on the shoulders, compacting and application of 7mm emulsion seal as required.
Mt Denison –Willowra road, Willowra - 103467-19NT-RTR
As this is the shortest road connecting Yuendumu and Willowra, considerable volume of traffic using this road section. Presently, Mt Denison –Willowra road is a flat blade track and not meets the standards, has very low level of service and low level of safety for road users.Grade the area between the inverts of both table drains. Remove all obstructions including dead trees, fallen branches and regrowth from area to be graded. Win material from the area between the inverts of both table drains and the edges of the shoulders. Cut the pavement to remove all corrugations and fill in all ruts, holes and depressions. Spread the accumulated material uniformly over the pavement to fill depressions and to obtain the typical cross section of a formed road. Wet mix and roll to produce a uniform and tightly bound surface free of corrugations, ruts and depressions. Compact with required number of passes distributed evenly over the carriageway/pavement, and to be between the outer edges of the pavement.
Merrengreen Road (Rural Road) - 103433-19NSW-RTR
This section has extensive gravel loss and rutting and potholes.It is planned to regravel the sections which have gravel loss with 75mm compacted gravel. The mitre drains and table drains will be restored.
Youngareen Road (Rural Road) - 103439-19NSW-RTR
Youngareen Road has a 6m wide gravelled surface. This section has extensive gravel loss with other failures such as rutting and potholes.It is planned to regravel the sections which have gravel loss with 75mm compacted gravel, and wet grade the sections which have loss of shape. The table drains and mitre drains will also be restored.
