Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Landor Mount Augusutus (Rural Road) - 103485-19WA-RTR
There is a section of road with two culverts requiring reconstruction, widening and sealing to improve all weather access and to prevent harmful dust associated with traffic entering the Burringurrah Aboriginal Community and the local Police Station.Reconstruct road formation to correct width and height, seal with a double coat bitumen application.
Sapphire Road (Rural Road) - 103496-19NSW-RTR
Lack of gravel, surface rutting, poor shape and inadequate drainageIt is proposed to rectify the problems with this section of road by installing additional mitre drains and cleaning the existing drains. The road will then be tyned and re-shaped. Following this new gravel will be imported, spread and compacted. The road will then be trimmed to it final shape.Total cost of proposed project is $40,500

Dowling Street, Dungog - 103479-19NSW-RTR
Failed pavement with multiple surface and pavement defectsRehabilitation and stabilisation of the pavement including associated drainage works. Safety improvements achieved by this project will include:- an on-road cycle lane, improvements to existing pedestrian crossings, improved delineation.Total cost of proposed project is $2,696,853
Richard Street, Bridport - 103481-19TAS-RTR
The current pavement and sealed surface has degraded due to poor drainage and vehicle movements.Replace, widen and improve alignment of existing pavement then resurface to improve road safety and waterproof pavement for 240m from the junction of Main St to the junction of West St, 8.6m wide.Total cost of proposed project is $367,500
Pozzi Road, (Rural Road) - 103501-19WA-RTR
The existing road has a number of sections that are failing and deep corrugations are formed regularly.Box out and fill failing sections, form the subgrade to even, two way cross fall and place and form 100 milimetres of gravel over the section of the road.
Old Waterhouse Road, Waterhouse - 103480-19TAS-RTR
The current gravel surface has degraded due to weather and traffic movements.Apply a layer of surface gravel 5.0m wide from the junction of Ponderosa Rd 6000m south.
Richardson Road (rural road) - 103499-19WA-RTR
The original seal is old and failing.Place a reseal along the length of road.
Corny Point Road, Corny Point - 103465-19SA-RTR
Road surface is sub standard and subject to stormwater pooling. Typical grain route with increased tourist traffic and farm access requirements.Widen and improve both vertical and horizontal sight distances. Road to be resheeted with processed rubble to improve road surface.Total cost of proposed project is $434,560
Latham Avenue, Walpole - 103494-19WA-RTR
The existing asphalt seal is very worn with pot holes occurring regularly.Ensure all potholes are repaired then place a 25mm asphalt seal over the road.
