Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Gibberd Road, Balcatta - 127503-24WA-RTR
Existing asphalt is oxidised and cracking. Road requires remedial action to prevent failure.Mill and fill the base and top layer asphalt. Other funding source: City of StirlingTotal cost of proposed project is $347,721
Royal Street, Yokine - 127564-24WA-RTR
Existing asphalt oxidised and cracking. Road requires remedial action to prevent failure.Mill and fill the base and top layer asphalt.
Watt Street, Wonthaggi - 127365-24VIC-RTR
Medium-sized cracks have started to appear in the seal, allowing water to seep into the road pavement, causing potholes and soft spots to form in the road.Asphalting. Additional source of funding is from Bass Coast Shire Council (General Rate Revenue).Total cost of proposed project is $150,000
Collector Road (Rural Road) - 127578-24NSW-RTR
Problems being addressed is the poor roadside drainage and rutting and shifting of the road surface and the loss of gravel surface which contributes to the poor wearing surface.Works proposed to be undertaken for this project is to rehabilitate 1.5 km of the road. This will involve drainage improvements and importing, spreading, shaping and compacting gravel and applying a bituminous seal to the newly rehabilitated road pavement.
Rhyanna Road (Rural Road) - 127576-24NSW-RTR
Lack of gravel, surface rutting, poor shape and inadequate drainage.It is proposed to rectify the problems with this section of road by installing additional mitre drains and cleaning the existing drains. The road will then be trimmed and re-shaped. Following this new gravel will be imported, spread and compacted. The road will then be trimmed to its final shape.
Redmarley Road, Condamine - 127441-24QLD-RTR
Existing road is very narrow in locations, rough and pavement renewal required in some areas which requires renewal and widening to meet the current level of service.Reconstruct and widen to rural collector standard. Additional funding to be provided by Council.Total cost of proposed project is $539,555
Churchill Road, Prospect - 053253-14SA-RTR
Churchill Road is a designated heavy vehicle route. The bitumin kerbs are very old and in some places almost non-existent, The bitumin gutters are very old and large sections are badly eroded. Parking areas are poorly defined. The above issues have not been addressed for many years because of unanswered questions about road widening.Construct in-situ concrete kerbs and gutters, repair edges of road pavement to match new gutters construct indented parking bays, upgrade side entry drains and associated drain access covers, modify street lighting as required to accommodate above changes, adjust driveways to match new concrete crossover-inverts, re-locate footpaths where necessary, install street furniture and landscaping.Total cost of proposed project is $720,000
Old Rosevale Road (Rural Road) - 127440-24QLD-RTR

Additional funding to be provided by Council.Total cost of proposed project is $450,000
Glenern Road, Glenmorgan - 127442-24QLD-RTR
Existing road is very narrow in locations, rough and pavement renewal required in some areas which requires renewal and widening to meet the current level of service.Reconstruct and widen to rural collector standard. Additional funding to be provided by Council.Total cost of proposed project is $2,528,490
Windmill Road, Chinchilla - 127446-24QLD-RTR
Existing road has some pavement failures requiring renewal and upgrade to meet current level of service within town streets. Upgrade to kerb and channel standard to meet community expectations.Reconstruct to urban access standard. Additional funding to be provided by Council.Total cost of proposed project is $956,122
