Flagstaff Hill Road (Rural Road) - 127586-24SA-RTR
Flagstaff Hill Road is a Class 3 road that provides access to multiple farming properties and an important transport link from Bagot Well through to St Kitts. The current condition of the road surface prevents all weather access with clay breakthrough areas observed throughout the road. During rain events, the road becomes unpassable for heavy vehicles.Road will be re-sheeted and constructed using a suitable quarry material that will provide a higher level of rideability and decreases maintenance intervals. Balance of project costs being covered by council.
Ayliffe Bridge Road (Rural Road) - 127585-24SA-RTR
Ayliffe Bridge Road is located at the Northern edge of Council’s boundary and provides an important transport link for the community to access Stockport. With sealed roads connecting at either end of this unsealed road, increased traffic continues to have an impact on a road that’s nearing its end of life. There’s minimal rubble left on the surface to allow maintenance grading to occur and the wider community have reported the road as being highly corrugated with multiple areas of subsurface breakthrough.Road will be re-sheeted and constructed using a suitable quarry material that will provide a higher level of rideability and decreases maintenance intervals.
