Badja Road (Rural Road), - 064327-16NSW-RTR
The road is currently listed as a 19m B-D0uble Route. This section is an unsealed narrow formation, much of which is at grade, with deep table drains and ongoing erosion problems during rainfall events. The narrow pavement and deep table drains present a potential hazard for motorists and heavy vehicles, with minimal room for overtaking or passing on-coming vehicles. During wet weather the risk of a vehicle collision/accident on the narrow pavement increases significantly as vehicles ride the centre of pavement to avoid the slippery shoulders and table drains.Reconstruct existing pavement to provide 10m carriageway with 7m trafficable lanes. (2x 3.5m lane + 2x 1.5m shoulder) Upgrade erosion controls on the table drains for the section at grade. Increase the current Clear Zone to permit safe use of the road by B-Double Traffic.Total cost of proposed project is $655,637
Norfolk Explanade Caboolture - 064332-16QLD-RTR
