Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Lipscombe Road, Deception Bay - 064336-16QLD-RTR
The existing pavement is currently showing significant signs of age, major rutting, cracking and fatigue.The project scope includes the rehabilitation of the subject section of road over a length of 170 m with average width of 8.4 m. The line marking will be altered to include bicycle lanes within the current formation width. The project objective is to renew the pavement to improve road safety and achieve the required level of service.
McClintock Drive, Murrumba Downs - 064337-16QLD-RTR
The lane width at the intersection with Kate Court is insufficient (3.5m lane width+ 1.5m hard shoulder) for vehicles to pass another vehicle stopped to turn right and as a result, overall capacity of McClintock Drive is impacted and the level of motorist safety is compromised.The scope of the project is to design and construct a south bound channelised right turn (S type) on McClintock Drive. The objective is to improve the safety of traffic operation in that intersection by reducing the delays for through traffic and providing more waiting time for right turning traffic to filter through.Total cost of proposed project is $340,000
McClintock Drive Murrumba Downs - 064338-16QLD-RTR
The existing pavement is currently badly potholed, surface aged, stripped and drainage requires attention.The project scope includes the rehabilitation of the subject section of road over a length of 630 m and average width of 9.2 m. This project will also include bicycle lanes, pedestrian pathway links and improvements, traffic safety initiatives, fauna underpasses and the provision of street tree planting to improve visual amenity and to provide shade. The project objective is to renew the pavement to improve safety and achieve the required level of service.Total cost of proposed project is $1,461,373
Theodore Road, Kurwongbah - 064341-16QLD-RTR
The current unsealed road has a significant crash history and requires improvements in the horizontal and vertical alignment.The project scope involves the upgrade of 1.8km of rural unsealed road including sealing, and alignment, geometric and drainage improvements to be confirmed during detailed design. To provide 8m wide seal (3.5m lanes, 0.5m shoulders) with minor alignment improvements.Total cost of proposed project is $1,732,792
Rowley Road, Burpengary - 064342-16QLD-RTR
The existing road pavement has deteriorated below an acceptable level. Significant areas of the pavement are exhibiting crocodile cracking, longitudinal and AC joint cracking. The pavement is currently at the early stages of distress as rutting, deformation and pavement failures are throughout the length of the project areaRehabilitation of the pavement 680m in length and 9.2m in average width for road safety and to return pavement to required level of service. Other options for the provision of corridor improvements will be investigated. These improvements may include on road cycle facilities, pedestrian pathway links and improvements, traffic safety initiatives and the provision of street tree planting to improve visual amenity and to provide shade. A review of existing signage to allow for the removal of non-essential signage from the corridor will also be investigated.Total cost of proposed project is $1,502,853
Faulkner Road (Rural Road) - 064344-16WA-RTR
the surface can be quite slippery when wet due to the surface being primarily clay.Construct a new 9.0 metre wide 150 millimetre thick compacted gravel pavement carriageway for a total of 3,000 metres. the new gravel will be imported , spread, water bound and compacted to achieve the designated surface.
Scotsman Road (Rural Road) - 064345-16WA-RTR
The section can be quite slippery when wet due to the surface being primarily clay and there are several sandy sections.Construct a new 9.0 metre wide by 150 millimetre thick compacted gravel pavement carriageway for a total of 2.7 kilometres. Sandy section will be removed and new gravel will be imported, spread, water bound and compacted to achieve the designated surface.
Ingleton Road (Rural Road) - 064346-16WA-RTR
The section can be quite slippery when wet due to the existing gravel surface deteriorating, allowing clay sections to appear.Top up the with 150 millimetres of gravel to the existing gravel, new gravel will be imported, spread, water bound to achieve the designated surface.
Depot Road (rural road) - 064347-16WA-RTR
The gravel road is deteriorating and has a significant number of potholes. This is the road to the town tip so is a relatively high use road.Clear shoulder of weeds, form road up to seal stage and put a two coat seal on.
Gunther Avenue, Springvale - 064348-16VIC-RTR
Asphalt road is showing signs of failure, with pavement cracking and deformed sections of road due to traffic and agingAsphalt resurfacing works on Gunther Avenue. Gunther Avenue is approx. 6.8m wide. Works includes patching, resurfacing, kerb and line marking.
