Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Yornaning West Road (Rural Road) - 064299-16WA-RTR
Road is failing due to heavy vehicle use, road has blowouts for 204m.2 layer cement stabilisation and primer seal for 340m, improve drainage with bitumen surface.
Haystack Road, (Rural Road) - 064300-16QLD-RTR
Existing condition of the road has been rated as very poor. Based on road condition rating and the exisiting sealed width being inadequate for current traffic volumes, the above section of Haystack road has been scheduled for reconstruction.Scope of works to include reconstruction of the identified road segment to Western Downs Regional Council Rural feeder standard of 6m seal and 8m formation widths.Total cost of proposed project is $550,000
Victoria Road, Popanyinning Town - 064301-16WA-RTR
Unsealed town street that has significant local traffic that creates dust and complaints.Construct road to allow for primer seal and drainage improvements for 520m.
Clifford Road, Rural Road - 064302-16QLD-RTR
Clifford Road is classified as a Rural Collector road and Local Road of Regional Significance, due to the high traffic volume recorded for the road and the road serving as a vital link between the Clifford Region and Local towns. Clifford Road is currently unsealed which compromises the ability of road to provide this access during wet weather periods.Proposed scope is to construct an overlay and seal of this road segment to rural collector standard of 8m pavement width and 7m seal widthTotal cost of proposed project is $720,000
Ngurrin St, Pormpuraaw - 064303-16QLD-RTR
The unsealed current road at the intersection of Yalu St and Ngurrin St and all the way to the intersection of Ngurrin St and Rirranth St is formed from Sand & Shellgrt and creates a lot of Dust to homes along the wayRe-surface with gravel & roadbase materials, build up, reshape & level existing unsealed road including excavation & pave the length of above road with 400mm concrete edge restraint, 3.9 paved pavement with .4m concrete restraint, 350m long & 4.7m wide using R2Rallocation of $298,000.00.
Manurpa St, Pormpuraaw - 064304-16QLD-RTR
The unsealed current road at the "T" section of Yulu St and Manurpa St and all the way south to Rithamp St is formed from Sand & Shellgrit and creates a lot of Dust.Resurface with gravel & roadbase materials, build up, reshape & level existing unsealed road including excavation & pave the length of above road with 400mm concrete edge restraint, 3.9 paved pavement with .4m concrete restraint, 350m long & 4.7m wide using R2R allocation of $298,000.00
Bruce Rock East Road (rural road) - 064305-16WA-RTR
The pavement is only 3 metres wide and the shoulders are narrow. As trucks are passing each other on this road, widening the road would improve the safety of the road and ensure it is maintained in a fit-for-purpose state.Clear shoulders of weed and overhanging trees, box out shoulders and brring up to seal standard, then put a 7 metre seal over the existing seal and the shoulders.
Jones Lake Road (Rural Road) - 064306-16WA-RTR
Bitumen has broken up and potholed due to surface erosionRepair edge breaks/ patch holes and reseal with 10mm Blue MetalTotal cost of proposed project is $139,805
