The Australian Government is committed to a 10-year, over $120 billion infrastructure investment pipeline, ensuring a rolling program of sustainable land transport infrastructure projects.

The Government is working in partnership with states and territories to deliver a credible and sustainable pipeline of projects which support a range of economic and social objectives, including productivity and resilience, sustainability and liveability.

Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

The Boulevarde, Wye River - 128085-24VIC-RTR
Road pavement failure, with rutting, shoving and failed wearing course. Reconstruct existing road pavement (full width) including necessary drainage works. The source of additional funding is to be provided by Colac Otway Shire via the 2024-25 budget.
Connor Street, Colac - 128086-24VIC-RTR
Pavement wearing course cracking and pavement deformation.Reconstruct the intersection pavement with an asphalt overlay. The source of additional funding is to be provided by Colac Otway Shire via the 2024-25 budget.Total cost of proposed project is $250,000
Dewars Pool Road (Rural Road) - 127945-24WA-RTR
Water ponding, deformation of the road surface and narrow road in sections.Import materials, stabilise road section, road widening, complete drainage works and apply a 2 coat emulsion seal. Partially funded by Regional Road Group funding.Total cost of proposed project is $436,123
Wells Glover Road (Rural Road) - 127947-24WA-RTR
Narrow intersection, water ponding and deformation of the surface.Line marking, upgrade of signage, drainage works, installation of asphalt seal, upgrade to road surface and widening road intersection for the safe movements of heavy vehicles. Jointly funded by Regional Roads group.Total cost of proposed project is $221,428
Muchea South Road (Rural Road) - 128822-24WA-RTR
Improve lighting/sight distance, upgrade of signage, intersection narrow and unlit for all vehicles.Remove vegetation to edge of Road section to achieve 2 m clear zone, Installation of street lights, upgrade signage, upgrade of intersection and drainage upgrade. This project is partially funded by Regional Roads Group.Total cost of proposed project is $515,855
Monjebup Road (Rural Road) - 127633-24WA-RTR
Road too narrow to cater for heavy traffic and slippery sections which is a hazard to school bus.Form and gravel re-sheet and widening the drainage. Other funding source will be Shire of Jerramungup (own expenditure).Total cost of proposed project is $187,228
Cowalellup Road (Rural Road) - 127635-24WA-RTR
Road too narrow for heavy vehicles and clay sections, very slippery when wet.Form and gravel re-sheet and widen drainage. Other Funding source is Shire of Jerramungup (own expenditure).Total cost of proposed project is $183,633
Whorouly Road, Whorouly - 053378-14VIC-RTR
Bitumen surface is aged and severely cracked. That is the bitumen surface is failing, risking further failure to the road pavement.Repair surface failures and reseal road.
Deepdale Road, Meru - 128929-24WA-RTR
Wearing surface is poor condition. Extensive cracks along this Road Segment.Road Reseal The City of Greater Geraldton will provide additional funding.Total cost of proposed project is $99,831
Peak Street, Drummond Cove - 128930-24WA-RTR
Wearing surface is poor condition. Extensive cracks along this Road Segment.Road Asphalt resurface The City of Greater Geraldton will provide additional funding.Total cost of proposed project is $76,815
