Project description

The road is a school bus route, has a higher volume of traffic during harvest, is used by tourists to access Koolanooka Springs when travelling from the south and is currently corrugated and potholed with vegetation growing on the verges. Widening and improving surface rideability and drainage will provide a suitable and safe linkage for road users.

Carry out vegetation management to improve sightlines in selected areas, reform sub-grade and then gravel re-sheet to a thickness of 100 mm with imported material to provide a running surface of 8 metres and an overall width of 10 metres.
