Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Peisley Rd (Rural Road) - 130237-24NSW-RTR
Unsealed pavement is wheel rutted and has other minor surface defects.Routine maintenance grading of the gravel and crushed rock pavement to restore pavement shape, remove wheel ruts and surface defects.
South Street, Gunnedah - 130302-24NSW-RTR
The project forms part of a broader existing connected shared path network connecting the Gunnedah Pool Facility, Aged Care facility, Town Centre and broader shared path network along South Street, fronting Council's Showground Facility, Cemetery and community dwellings on Wandobah Road. Further it services pedestrian and bike users accessing the School and Hospital facility in Marquis St. It will improve safety for users not having to use the grass road or verge.Kerb and gutter works associated with the installation. Kerb ramps at various road crossing points and the installation of a new concrete 2.5 m shared use pathway on the existing nature strip. Council has a submission for the Australian Government Active Transport Fund that would co-contribute the remaining $116,538 for this project.Total cost of proposed project is $233,076
Coral Sea Road, Fulham - 130208-24SA-RTR
Seal and kerb have reached their end of useful life.Full reseal and kerb reconstruction. - Council will fund the balance of the fundingTotal cost of proposed project is $558,831
Tempest Street, Gunnedah - 130308-24NSW-RTR
Local families wishing to access Schools, daycare, sporting fields the Business District and all inclusive playground. The path will also be utilised by tourists and visitors attending sporting events at the oval and wishing to access the Central Business District and playground. The current grassed verges will be replaced with safe concrete paths.Kerb and gutter works associated with the installation. Kerb ramps at various road crossing points and the installation of a new concrete 2.5 m shared use pathway. Other source of funding is Australian Government Active Transport Fund.Total cost of proposed project is $124,511
Bloomfield Street, Gunnedah - 130303-24NSW-RTR

Kent Street, Benalla - 130248-24VIC-RTR
Road surface is deteriorating through oxidation and loss of aggregate and has cracking and potholes that are becoming a hazard and allowing water to penetrate through to the underlying pavement base. Pavement surface is rough and has poor drainage due to inadequate crossfalls.Reseal of the existing road surface with new bituminous spray seal, aggregate, and bituminous slurry, including pothole repairs and preparation of the existing pavement before resurfacing, in order to preserve the asset, improve pavement drainage and reduce roughness.
Mary Street, Benalla - 130249-24VIC-RTR
Road surface is deteriorating through oxidation and loss of aggregate and has cracking and potholes that are becoming a hazard and allowing water to penetrate through to the underlying pavement base.Reseal of the existing road surface with new bituminous spray seal and aggregate, including pothole repairs and preparation of the existing pavement before resealing, in order to preserve the asset.
Psaltis Parade, Benalla - 130250-24VIC-RTR

Henty Street, Seacombe Gardens - 130271-24SA-RTR
Nearing the end of serviceable life and block cracking.Reconstruction of damaged sections of kerb & gutter to improve drainage. Profile 40 mm depth and resurface/reseal the road with asphalt pavement.
