Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Edward Road, Chirnside Park - 130340-24VIC-RTR

Due to a significant increase in commercial vehicle traffic, the road pavement condition has deteriorated with the surface being dilapidated, requiring rehabilitation.Removal of existing asphalt layer, rehabilitation works to strengthen the base and sub-base, widening and re-sheeting the entire road segment with new asphalt layer.

Braeside Road, Barcaldine - 130317-24QLD-RTR

The floodway is too low and with small amounts of rain the road is closed and that leaves no access to and from the properties on that road. Deteriorating concrete has resulted in the crossing becoming unsafe at medium speed.Replacing culvert in the flood way, building up the road to be level with the road to allow for limited road closures to occur.

Anu Street, Bamaga - 130358-24QLD-RTR

To increase road safety for drivers and pedestrians (predominately students and their families), traffic calming devices will be installed in response to community concerns at this location. This busy location in the community, especially before and after school, requires measures to reduce vehicle speeds and improve driver awareness. These devices aim to enhance safety in areas with high pedestrian activity or where accidents are more likely to occur. By slowing down traffic and encouraging safer driving behaviours, traffic calming measures help create a safer environment for all road users, including pedestrians, cyclists, and motorists.To install traffic calming device, raised pedestrians crossing with associated signage, over the top of existed painted zebra crossing located at entrance to State School.

Railway Terrace, Wyalkatchem - 052389-14WA-RTR

Railway Terrace has sections of damaged kerbing at parking bays.Railway Terrace will have 15 x 10 metre sections of pavement replaced with new extruded kerbing.Total cost of proposed project is $10,516

Tumema Street, Seisa - 129830-24QLD-RTR

Upgrade the Stormwater drainage to remove unwanted ponding of water on the side of the road and footpath. Safety issue to road users and pedestrians.Install storm water pits, pipes and outlets at southern portion of Tumema Street.

Sagaukaz Street, Bamaga - 130359-24QLD-RTR

To increase road safety for drivers and pedestrians, traffic calming devices will be installed in response to community concerns at this location. This busy location in the community, especially busy during peak tourist season and at school pickup/drop off hours, requires measures to reduce vehicle speeds and improve driver awareness. These devices aim to enhance safety in areas with high pedestrian activity or where accidents are more likely to occur. This crossing supports hospital workers and residents accessing healthcare as well as students accessing State School (Senior Campus). By slowing down traffic and encouraging safer driving behaviours, traffic calming measures help create a safer environment for all road users, including pedestrians, cyclists, and motorists.Install traffic calming device, including a raised pedestrians crossing with associated signage, on Sagaukaz Street, Bamaga over the top of existed painted zebra crossing that connects the Bamaga hospital and State School.

Bowie St, Injinoo - 130360-24QLD-RTR

To increase road safety for drivers and pedestrians, traffic calming devices will be installed in response to community concerns at this location. This busy location in the community, requires measures to reduce vehicle speeds and improve driver awareness. These devices aim to enhance safety in areas with high pedestrian activity or where accidents are more likely to occur. This location will support students and their families accessing the NPA State School (Junior Campus). By slowing down traffic and encouraging safer driving behaviours, traffic calming measures help create a safer environment for all road users, including pedestrians, cyclists, and motorists.Install traffic calming device, including raised pedestrians crossing with associated signage, at Bowie Street.
