Project description

To increase road safety for drivers and pedestrians, traffic calming devices will be installed in response to community concerns at this location. This busy location in the community, requires measures to reduce vehicle speeds and improve driver awareness. These devices aim to enhance safety in areas with high pedestrian activity or where accidents are more likely to occur. This location will support students and their families accessing the NPA State School (Junior Campus). By slowing down traffic and encouraging safer driving behaviours, traffic calming measures help create a safer environment for all road users, including pedestrians, cyclists, and motorists.

Install traffic calming device, including raised pedestrians crossing with associated signage, at Bowie Street.
