Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

T Boags Road, Tarwin Lower (Rural Road) - 132098-25VIC-RTR
Wearing course on road has worn away exposing the subgrade making the road slippery when wet.It is proposed to place a new wearing course 50 millimetres in depth of 20 millimetre crushed rock. Additional funding will be sourced from Council rate revenue.Total cost of proposed project is $46,152
Nain Road (Rural Road) - 132284-25SA-RTR
Nain Road in the Greenock locality serves as a rural access road supporting several primary production properties, as well as providing access to the Nain Lutheran Church and cemetery. While not a major freight route, it forms part of the local rural road network essential for property access and community use. The road has reached the end of its useful life, with visible signs of surface wear, edge deterioration, and inadequate drainage. Maintenance efforts are becoming more frequent and less effective in addressing the underlying issues.Road will be re-sheeted and constructed using a suitable quarry material that will provide a higher level of rideability and decreases maintenance intervals. The source of additional funding will be Councils own funds.Total cost of proposed project is $152,901
Tothill Road, Marrabel - 132333-25SA-RTR
The road surface is in poor condition and worn through to the subgrade in sections. It is very dusty and rough in the drier months. The road will have vegetation trimmed, be formed and re-sheeted. Source of the Joint Funding is from Council’s own funds.
Tarnma Road, Marrabel - 132335-25SA-RTR

Newstead Crescent, Parmelia - 132534-25WA-RTR
The existing road surface is significantly deteriorated, affecting driving comfort and safety. In addition, the current traffic calming devices do not comply with modern standards, reducing their effectiveness. The scope of work includes upgrading the entire section of the road through resurfacing and safety improvements. Key components of the project are: 1) Overlay of the entire road section to improve surface quality 2) Installation of a 1.5-metre-wide footpath to enhance pedestrian safety 3) Upgrading of existing traffic calming devices to meet current standards Supplementary funding for this project will be sourced from the City of Kwinana’s municipal funds.
Woodley Way, Orelia - 132535-25WA-RTR
The existing road surface, kerbing, and certain drainage components have deteriorated and reached the end of their service life. Replacement is necessary to ensure continued safety and functionality.Replacement of kerbing along the entire section Road resurfacing (overlay) to improve surface condition Installation of a 1.5-metre-wide new footpath to enhance pedestrian safety Supplementary funding for this project will be sourced from the City of Kwinana’s municipal funds.Total cost of proposed project is $400,445
Old Melbourne Road - 053797-14VIC-RTR
The road surface and pavement has lost its shape due to severe wheel rutting caused by increased heavy commercial trafficThe supply and placement of 980 cubic metres of Suspended Fibre Technology (SFT) slurry seal bituminous product for a road length of 8.3 kilometres and width of 8 metresTotal cost of proposed project is $600,000
SR 5 Lansdale Road (Rural Road) - 132536-25NSW-RTR
The average road width at this location is 4.5m to 5m, which is quite narrow for two-way traffic.2km to 2.4km section of the road will be widened to 7.5 metres, and the entire area will be resurfaced.
