Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Poor road pavement. This section of road is in poor condition due to its age and needs to be replaced.Pavement rehabilitation of a 320m section of road in order to extend its life and improve road safety.Total cost of proposed project is $697,402
Johnston Street, Bellbird Park, - 067267-16QLD-RTR
Poor road pavement. This section of road is in poor condition due to its age and needs to be replaced.Pavement rehabilitation of a 400m section of road in order to extend its life and improve road safety.Total cost of proposed project is $220,275
Old Ravensthorpe Road (Rural Road) - 067274-16WA-RTR
Road horizontal curve too flat for straight section in to a sudden turn. Signage faded and undersized.For the section of road between Straight Link Kilometre 0.125 and 0.275, carry out detailed survey and geotechnical investigation, pavement design and horizontal and vertical pavement alignment design before re-alignment works. May need to undertake land acquisition. Formation widening and reconstruction of pavement required. Vegetation clearing along this section of road as well. Replace all approach (advisory) signs and bi-directional chevrons at intersection with Newdegate-Ravensthorpe Road.Total cost of proposed project is $53,607
Allen Street, Leichhardt - 067279-16NSW-RTR
Distressed pavement condition with cracking and potholeReseal the road pavement and heavy patching the failed pavement section.
Midland Highway Safety Works Package – Mangalore to Bagdad Stage 2
The project upgraded approximately 7km of the Midland Highway from Eddington Road, Mangalore to the Pontville Roundabout at Brighton Road, Bagdad. The completed project included the installation of flexible safety barriers, construction of a new acceleration lane, widening of existing shoulders and new turning facilities and local service roads.
Monash Freeway Upgrade
The project upgraded the Monash Freeway by adding additional lanes from Warrigal Road to EastLink, from EastLink to Springvale Road, and between Clyde Road and Cardinia Road; extend managed motorway technology from the South Gippsland Freeway to the Beaconsfield Interchange; upgrading the Beaconsfield Interchange to widen the overpass and add east facing ramps; duplicating and extending O'Shea Road from Clyde Road to the Beaconsfield Interchange; building an outbound collector-distributor between Jacksons Road and EastLink; and constructing a number of other related active and public transport works.  
Warburton-Blackstone Road (Rural Road) - 066495-16WA-RTR
Depressed and narrow sandy formation with cross-flowing waterways prone to severe inundation during rain eventsClear, widen, form up, reconstruct and resheet on existing alignment; install drains and levees. Road width 10m, total length 8.5km.Total cost of proposed project is $650,000
Marma Box Creek (Rural Road) - 066883-16NSW-RTR
Gravel surface deteriorating quickly due to increase in traffic. This road is the main route to Mungo National Park from Balranald township.Gravel construction 8m wide and 3.7m seal for a length of 2.30km. This will include installation of table drains to improve drainage.
Euston Prungle Road (Rural Road) - 066884-16NSW-RTR
Road surface is in a low lying area with a sharp turning curve and poor drainage.Straighten to remove bend, form and build up road way. Then gravel construct 8m wide for a length of 1.91km. Form new table drains to improve drainage.
Mildura Ivanhoe Road (Rural Road) - 066885-16NSW-RTR
Formation of road has deteriorated due to traffic. The road level is below natural surface making it impassable in wet conditions.To form and build the road up to natural surface with natural material. Then gravel construction 8m wide for a length of 1.0km. This will include grading along the sides of the road to form table drains for drainage flow.
