Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Innamincka Road, (Rural LRRS Road), - 067201-16QLD-RTR
The remaining unsealed section of the Innamincka Road is severely affected by minor rain events. The worst areas have been identified and will be bypassed with a new road alignment. This will create a stable platform for the following sheeting of the road. The old road alignment will be used as a drainage area for the new alignment.Clearing, Ground surface treatment and Heavy Formation Grade for the construction of a 9 metre wide road surface for the new alignment.Total cost of proposed project is $770,000
Carbine Road, (rural Road) - 067203-16WA-RTR
The road has a poor base and have very little material on the road to grade. The road has drainage issues and requires clearing to improve sight lines.Gravel resheet up to 5km section including widening various sections, drainage maintenance and improvements, shoulder maintenance and improvements
Ferguson Way (Wandering Town) - 067204-16WA-RTR
Cal du sac causes significant issues for trucks, drainage issues are significant, line of sight entering and leaving road is considered unsafe and works will reduce high ongoing maintenance costsUpgrade 0.25 section to seal to reduce maintenance and provide improved access to heavy vehicles, extend road to become a loop not a cal de sac to better support access and turning of heavy vehicles. Drainage and line of sight to be improved during works undertaken.
Magenta Road (Rural Road) - 067205-16WA-RTR
Scheduled reseal works for bitumen roads.Reseal 7.2 metres wide with 10mm aggregate. Total of 23,040 m2 of road resealed.
Cheetanning Street, Wandering Town - 067206-16WA-RTR
Seal is deteriorating and requires reseal to improve safety and to prevent road from being reconstructed.Patch and reseal
Down Street (Wandering Town) - 067207-16WA-RTR
The current culverts in place are undersized and inadequate to cope with the volume of water experienced during average winter rainfall and washes away the down side shoulder.Improve the drainage by installing larger capacity pipes and head walls to increase the length and width by a third.
Morowa - Yalgoo Road (Rural Road) - 067209-16WA-RTR
Morowa - Yalgoo Road pavement is between 8m and 9m wide and the existing seal varies between 4m and 7m wideMorowa - Yalgoo Road pavement is being widened between 0.5m and 1.0m each side to provide a consistent 10m wide pavement. Morowa - Yalgoo Road seal is being widened at various places 1.5m each side to provide a consistent 7m wide seal.
Sherwood Crescent, Bellbird Park, - 067263-16QLD-RTR
Poor road pavement. This section of road is in poor condition due to its age and needs to be replaced.Pavement rehabilitation of a 380m section of road in order to extend its life and improve road safety.Total cost of proposed project is $216,178
Milford Street, Redbank Plains, - 067264-16QLD-RTR
Poor road pavement. This section of road is in poor condition due to its age and needs to be replaced.Pavement rehabilitation of a 400m section of road in order to extend its life and improve road safety.Total cost of proposed project is $235,531
Raceview Street, Raceview, - 067265-16QLD-RTR
Poor road pavement. This section of road is in poor condition due to its age and needs to be replaced.Pavement rehabilitation of a 475m section of road in order to extend its life and improve road safety.Total cost of proposed project is $739,107
