Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Gulargambone Road SR19 - 067915-16NSW-RTR
Formation and seal width deficiency with roughness, rutting and sinkage.Reconstruct pavement - stabilise subbase, resheet with roadbase and seal.
McCauley Street, Kilcoy - 067916-16QLD-RTR
The existing stormwater system is not effective, no existing kerb and channel and the road shoulder is presently grass and difficult to maintain.Install new underground stormwater drainage. Install new Kerb and Channel and extend the existing bitumen pavement to the new kerb and channel, removing the untidy grass shoulder.
Hueske Road (Rural Road) - 067917-16NSW-RTR
Road currently has insufficient seal and formation width for the volume of vehicles and trucks. The road currently contains many significant failures leading to an unsafe surface for motorists using the road.Reconstruction and Widening to a 10m formation and 8m seal for 1.4km
Wymah Road (Rural Road) - 067918-16NSW-RTR
Road is currently unsealed through a number of bends from the end of the current sealed portion of the road. A number of cars have left the road in this section.Construction and Sealing of 1.65km of road

Road has a steep gradient and high volumes of traffic with turning traffic having not enough room to decelerate safely to undertake a turn onto Jelbart RoadExtend existing turn lane by 200 metres
Commercial Street, Walla Walla - 067922-16NSW-RTR
Western side of the road is in poor condition with significant pavement failures and poor drainage.Reconstruction of western side of road including kerb and channel and associated drainage and new footpath
Ooldea Road, Maralinga Tjarutja (Rural Road) - 067923-16SA-RTR
This dirt road requires regular maintenance and restoration work to rectify deterioration. Due to increased rains, this section of road has significant sand drift damage. 30km section of the road 250km East of the Western Australian border of has been closed. This section will be dry in approximately 2 weeks enabling road to be graded. These problems represent significant safety hazards for road users including Oak Valley community members, service providers, suppliers, mining workers, tourists and other travellers due to the poor condition of the road and increased risk of collision with camels and other large animals emerging from the overgrown parts of roadsides.Grading of road. Proposed area graded is 350 km
Sladen Street, Henty - 067924-16NSW-RTR
This section of urban street is the main CBD of Henty. It has no underground drainage and existing kerb is in poor conditionInstallation of new underground drainage and kerb and channel as part of a major project to upgrade the main CBD area of Henty
