Quia Road,(rural road) - 054093-14NSW-RTR

The surface of Quia Road in the proposed work location is bitumen sealed and is badly deformed, which presents a traffic hazard for vehicles on the road. Furthermore, the surface is narrow in width, which is a traffic safety hazard for passing vehicles.The proposed work involves increasing the width of the road pavement, overlaying the pavement with 100mm compacted road base material and bitumen sealing the surface of the road. Total length of the proposed work is 1.0km

Katunga-Picola Road, Picola - 134554-25VIC-RTR

Ageing seal is cracking which allows moisture to enter the road pavement, works required to prevent major deterioration. Resurface existing seal with a bituminous binder and aggregate.

River Road, Cobram - 134563-25VIC-RTR

Ageing seal is cracking which allows moisture to enter the road pavement, works required to prevent major deterioration. Resurface existing seal with a bituminous binder and aggregate.

Lachlan Street, Forbes - 134570-25NSW-RTR

The timber safety barrier on bridge over Lake Forbes has deteriorated and no longer provides effective protection. Replace with steel safety barrier.

Andrews East Road (Rural Road) Leighton SA - 134572-25SA-RTR

Andrews East Rd is an Unsealed Category 2 road providing access for primary producers from the area south of Leighton north to the major sealed road of Goyder Highway. The existing road surface has reached the end of its life and requires renewal. Reforming of existing road surface, importing and spreading road base. Re-shaping and cleaning of drains and culverts. The road specification is to be 6.5 m wide, 100 mm pavement thickness and 4-6% cross fall. Additional funding for the project to be provided from Council sourced rate revenue.

Lachlan Street, Wamoon - 134577-25NSW-RTR

Road width and Asset Maintenance are the two main contributing factors to the inclusion of Lachlan Street into this years R2R program. The existing roadway is very narrow and in very poor condition. The surface is cracked and numerous potholes continually exist even with regular maintenance. Works will include pavement rehabilitation and pavement widening with subgrade stabilisation. Works will be completed with a 2 coat bitumen seal

Mt Bryan East Rd (Rural Road) Mt Bryan East - 134579-25SA-RTR

Mt Bryan East Road is an Unsealed Category 2 road providing access for primary producers from the area west of Hallett south to the major sealed road of the Barrier highway. The existing road surface has reached the end of its life and requires renewal. Reforming of existing road surface, importing and spreading road base. Re-shaping and cleaning of drains and culverts. The road specification is to be 8 m wide, 100 mm pavement thickness and 4-6% cross fall. Additional funding of $64,612 required to fund the total project to be provided from Council sourced rate revenue.

Sealing of recent works to rehabilitate and widen local road providing access for heavy vehicles, agricultural machinery. Sealing of 1.960km of recently reconstructed and widened road.

Shelford-Mt Mercer Road, Shelford - 134588-25VIC-RTR

Sealing of recent works to rehabilitate and widen local road providing access for heavy vehicles, agricultural machinery. Sealing of 0.577km of recently reconstructed and widened road.

Ashdowns Road, Tanjil South - 134611-25VIC-RTR

Critical Bridge Repairs Bridge strengthening works on Ashdowns Road bridge in Tanjil South over Tanjil River, which includes removal of existing decking and beams and installation of new steel beams & precast concrete decking on existing piers and abutments. Project was originally accepted with a cost of $826,326, we are amending it to the final cost of $487,432.
