Yambora Road (Rural Road) - 046360-12NSW-RTR
Existing culvert is inadequate and frequently washes out which requires the road to be tempoirarily closed until repairs can be made.Add 2 cells to the existing culvert structure.
Yelkin Road (Rural Road) - 046363-12NSW-RTR
Increased risk to road users as gravel shoulders have been worn down from increased traffic including heavy vehicles. Road has an old narrow seal of approximately 3.5m width, which is crumbling away at the edges and has significant edge drop.Gravel resheeting of the shoulders to bring back up to the level of the bitumen seal. Edge patching of the bitumen seal.
Deacons Road (Rural Road) - 046372-12NSW-RTR
Loss of gravel due to storms and traffic resulting in potholes, corrugations, ruts and is boggy when wet.Place 100mm compacted layer of crushed gravel on the road for full length of project section.
Eddington Laanecoorie Road (Rural Road) - 046380-12VIC-RTR
This structure has steep drop off's on all approaches and the existing concrete structure and erosion control barrier requires repairIt is proposed to install appropriate guard fencing on the approaches of this bridge. Repair work will be undertaken on the damaged concrete structure, and unsuitable erosion control barrier will be either repaired or replaced
Manchester Street - 046385-12SA-RTR
The Pavement & Seal have deteriorated and reached its end of useful life and requires a full reconstruction. The cause of this has been due to increasing traffic loading relating to large industry zones in the area. The projects seeks to upgrade the road pavement, including full kerb & gutter replacement for the current use and in anticipation of increasing traffic that would result from a number of major changes to the area, including regeneration of the large industry zones in Mile End South in particular to accomodate B-Double traffic. The project would also be providing improved facilities for pedestrians by upgrading footpaths and lighting.Total cost of proposed project is $1,400,000
Rodgers Road, Wyee - 046386-12NSW-RTR
The road is currently unsealed with consequent dust, drainage and maintenance problems.Proposal for this project: • 5m road width. This 5m incorporates a 4m wide sealed section with 1m wide table drains. The 5m width is from table drain invert to invert. • Where high erosion of the existing table drains is occurring (approx. 500m, both sides), new table drains to be constructed from heavily bound (3%) pug mill gravel and AC. From approx chainage 750, table drains to be formed and grassed. • Pavement option is insitu stabilisation (4% additive for first 290m, then 2%). There are two sections requiring gravel overlay prior to stabilisation. The first section is approx 100m long requiring 100mm overlay, the second section is the cul-de-sac end requiring 200mm overlay. • There is a proposed new culvert at approx. chainage 850. The existing culvert at chainage 460 is to be removed. The remaining two culverts at chainages 320 and 60 are proposed to be lengthened with new headwalls and rockwork placed both ends of the culverts to assist with water flow and erosion control. • Tree removal is to be minimised. Previous options required the removal of approx. 61 trees. The current proposal is to maintain as many trees as possible with the removal of a possible 3-5 likely. The total cost of the work is $620,000.00 and is jointly funded by Lake Macquarie City CouncilTotal cost of proposed project is $620,000

History with high number of non-casualty and near missing crashes occurred on the junctions, current "Give Way" intersection control will not be sufficient to cater for the increased traffic volume which generated by residential and commercial developments.Propose to construct a new four (4) legs roundabout with road realignment to combine two nearby road junctions into one junction with better treatment. Works include kerb and channelling, installation of traffic calming devices (Traffic Islands) and relocation of services such as water main, stormwater drainage system, telecommunication service, and electricity and gas supplies.Total cost of proposed project is $650,000
Dumbulyama Road, Yanyula(borroloola Town Camp) - 046419-12NT-RTR
