Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Beaufort - Carngham Road (Rural Road) - 046166-12VIC-RTR
The road currently has a narrow seal. The pavement on this section of the road is currently failing. The existing road also has poor sight distances.It is proposed to widen the road seal. Council will also strengthen the pavement and improve sight distances of the road.
Low Darling Road (Rural Road) - 046168-12NSW-RTR
Road is unsealed and weathers rapidly.Road will be Bituman sealed using 14mil & 7mil aggregate
Log Bridge Road (Rural Road) - 046171-12NSW-RTR
Uneven Road surface, potholing and holding water causes a very rough traveling surface.Reshape existing formation and import 150mm depth roadbase compact and trim to levels
StAlbans Road, Kalgoorlie, 6430 - 046184-12WA-RTR
Road has servere deformation, potholing and cracking, indicating that the road has reached the end of its economic life and maintenance costs are increasing.A complete reconstruction, including excavation of existing pavement and subgrade to new design levels, placement and compaction of new pavement, asphalt sealing of road and kerb replacement where needed
Hare Street, Kalgoorlie 6430 - 046186-12WA-RTR

National Park Road. (Rural Road) - 046215-12NSW-RTR
Existing bitumen seal is in excess of 15 years old; the surface has extensive longitudinal and lateral cracking and is prone to potholing and edge breaks. Classed as a high volume through road and school bus route.Shoulder grade both sides, then bitumen seal area 2000m X 6m using 14mm aggregate.
Raymond Street, Sale - 046236-12VIC-RTR
The existing road was constructed many years ago, with a 22 meter width, including a 10 metre sealed section in the middle, gravel parking lanes/shoulders on either side and no formal drainage, edges of seal are breaking away and potholes developing in shoulders/parking areas which are requiring a high level of maintenance.Works include formalisation of roadway, including the installation of kerb and channel, stormwater drainage including pits and pipes, sealed and delineated parking bays, and clear delineation of traffic lanes for safer vehicle movements, and to aline with current standards.
Blain Drive, Gladstone - 046256-12QLD-RTR
Pavement is stressing due to an increase in traffic volumes and heavy loads. There is also an increased risk of an accident with the lack of a protected right turn lane into the transfer station.Widening works to provide a new protected right turn lane into the transfer station. Deceleration lane into the transfer station will be lengthened. Increase pavement depth and strenghth.Total cost of proposed project is $680,000
