Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Ranken Road (Rural) - 046560-12NT-RTR
The Ranken Road is extensively used by the heavy vehicles in the support of pastoral proprieties and aboriginal communities. Small waterways can be boggy and impassable during the wet season. The construction of Inverts will improve accessibility.Construct two 30m Inverts at chainages 50.65 and 85.93 kilometres.

Crached, potholed and deteriarated road surface.Mill existing surface and replace with new asphalt re-sheet
Irishtown Road, Rural Road - 046568-12WA-RTR
The road is a narrow section of sealed road with inadequate drainage and sight lines with a dangerous blind intersection on the crest of a hill.It is proposed to undertake seal widening of the crest of the hill, remove hazardous vegetation, install rural drains, advisory signs and guide posts and improve the alignment and junction of irishtown Road with Grist Road.Total cost of proposed project is $315,000
Grimwade Noggerup Road, Rural Road - 046575-12WA-RTR
The road is a winding hilly narrow gravel road with numerous blind corners and inadequate drainage.It is proposed to reconstruct, widen, prime, clear hazardous vegetation, improve drainage and install advisory signs and guide postsTotal cost of proposed project is $290,821
Banksia Street, Blackall - 046580-12QLD-RTR
Create wet weather access to the new Blackall Industrial Estate. Work has commenced on extension of Violet Street into the Industrial Estate, and new roads need to be constructed to provide access to blocksAdding a new road to gain access to blocks, entailing constuction from formation of new road to bitumen sealTotal cost of proposed project is $75,116
Rowbottoms Road (Rural Road) - 046584-12VIC-RTR
Road pavement has failed with rutting and or potholes in this section and requires reconstruction and widening.Resheet with pavement overlay to strengthen existing pavement and widen to place a 6.2m seal.
Old Humbert River Station Access (Rural) - 046585-12NT-RTR
Condition of existing crossings prevent regular access into Yarralin community for essential services, school bus pick-ups and station requirements during the wet seasonInstallation of three (3) concrete inverts and batter protection works to improve access requirements
Abelia Street, Blackall - 046586-12QLD-RTR
Lack of wet weather access to the new industrial estate development and to improve road safety on this section, which frequently becomes impassable during wet weather.Pave and bitumen seal this section of Abelia Street to provide all weather access to the industrial development and surrounding areas.
