Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Ward Road, Tambo - 046587-12QLD-RTR
This is a school bus and mail route, which often becomes impassable during wet weather due to it being blacksoil formation. Provision of a bitumen seal will improve road safety for the school bus and assist in some children being able to get to and from school in wet weatherConstruction of a gravel pavement and then sealing with a bitumen seal.
Mandiga-Trayning Road (Rural Road) - 046588-12WA-RTR
The existing unsealed surface is very sandy and has started to fail under heavy traffic. The carriageway is also not wide enough for the type of Restricted Access Vehicles that are using it.Widen and construct along the entire 3.37 kilometre section a 9.0m wide by 150 millimetre thick compacted gravel carriageway. New gravel will be imported, spread, water bound and compacted to achieve the designated surface.
Corrigin Narembeen Road, Corrigin. (Rural) - 046592-12WA-RTR
Road unsafe due to narrow road formation and poor drainageWiden formation and improve drainage for increase safety
Rangers Valley Road (Rural Road) - 046594-12NSW-RTR
The existing concrete causeway has a poor vertical alignment, with a sharp drop into the causeway on each side, unsuitable for the speed and type of heavy vehicles using this road.Partially demolish and reconstruct the existing causeway slab and road approaches at improved levels.
Oliver Street - 046595-12NSW-RTR
Gravel road shoulders erode quickly due to relatively steep slope (average longitudinal gradient of nearly 5%) and vehicle movements on parking lanes, leading to frequent road maintenance to meet service levels.Construct concrete edge restraints on each side of Oliver Street to support and delineate the road pavement, and widen the pavement including bitumen sealing the two parking lanes on each side of the existing sealed carriageway.
Park Street, Bowraville - 046599-12NSW-RTR
Pavement of the street is in poor condition with potholes and surface irregularities.Renewal and strengthening of the pavement by cement stabilization to a depth of 250 mm and the placement of an asphaltic bitumen surface.Total cost of proposed project is $108,597
Bowds Lane (Rural Road) - 046607-12VIC-RTR
Road pavement has failed with rutting and or potholes in this section and requires reconstruction and sealing works to 6.2m width.Resheet pavement overlay to strengthen pavement and widen to allow a 6.2m seal.
Cape Nelson Road (Rural Road) - 046608-12VIC-RTR
Road pavement has failed along shoulder areas with rutting and or potholes in this section and requires shoulder reconstruction.Resheet pavement overlay to strengthen shoulder pavement to typically a 6.2m width.
Bahgallah Road - 046610-12VIC-RTR
Road pavement has failed with rutting and or potholes in this section and requires reconstruction.Seal shoulders of Bahgallah Rd from McPherson to Springbank Road to typically a 6.2m width.
Bank Street, Nambucca Heads - 046614-12NSW-RTR
Pavement of the street is in poor condition with potholes and surface irregularities.Renewal and strengthening of the pavement by removal of old asphalt, cement stabilization to a depth of 250mm and the placement of an asphaltic bitumen surface.Total cost of proposed project is $68,314
