Woolshed Road (Rural Road) - 045800-12NSW-RTR
This section of road is below adopted service width for the classification of this road. The narrow seal width is creating dangerous conditions for traffic that has to leave the sealed surface for passing traffic and with edge drop offs from the sealed surface. It is proposed to reconstruct the subject section of road to include: widening of the formation, stabilising of the subgrade and existing pavement material to a nominal depth of 200mm, and finally the application of a two coat bitumenous seal to a width of 7.5m total.
Springfield Avenue - 045802-12TAS-RTR
Springfield Avenue is a collector road and carries significant traffic between Main Road and West Moonah. This section of Springfield Avenue was constructed prior to 1970 and sections of pavement require box out and replacement. New hotmix surfacing, new kerb and channel and concrete footpaths are needed. Some traffic management improvements will be included at intersections with Leonard Avenue and Homer Avenue.Discrete areas of pavement replacement and new hotmix surfacing. New kerb and channel and new concrete footpaths. Minor traffic management improvements at junctions.Total cost of proposed project is $504,000
