Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Hughes Street, Denham WA - 045451-11WA-RTR
Undulating bitumen Road and pot holing due to installation of underground stormwater drainage.Ashphalt reseal of road surface area with an underlying correctional course.
Knight Terrace, Denahm WA - 045452-11WA-RTR
Protective kerbing surround the street lights located in the centre of the road is inadequate as new light poles have been installed and they are not protected by the existing kerbing.Remove existing kerbing and install protective kerbing around each individual light pole, infill with compacted material and cover with synthetic grass.
Magnesium Drive, Crestmead Stage 1 - 045465-11QLD-RTR
Council's Structure Plan and existing landholders have identified the need for a connecting road from the Berrinba Mixed Industry Business Area into Council's trunk road network. The construction of the new road will provide access for economic growth and ease traffic congestion in the area as loading on the minor road network should be reduced.Stage 1 of construction of a new two lane road, associated stormwater drainage works and pedestrian facilities.Total cost of proposed project is $3,900,000
Stannifer Road - 045491-11NSW-RTR
Existing Timber Structure is failed and load limit is in place including a one lane restriction.The entire bridge is to be replaced with a concrete structure including abutments and associated road works
Stanmore Road Yatala - 045511-11QLD-RTR
Stanmore road is a major link connecting Yatala to the western boundary of the City. Road capacity demand along the route is expected to increase in future years due to urbanisation of the region. The upgrade will improve road safety and cater for future increase in traffic volumes.Stage 3 works comprise of upgrading the road to a 4 lane urban/rural standard from Darlington Drive to Peachey Road. The project will be constructed over 2 years and be completed in 2014/15. The upgrade requiredment is approx 4km in length. ** R2R funding completed by 30 June 2014 **Total cost of proposed project is $23,400,000
Albert Street Berry - 045551-11NSW-RTR
The road is rough, cracked and deformed and is a hazard to traffic.The in-situ stabilisation of the existing pavement layer followed by sealing the surface with bitumen.Total cost of proposed project is $330,000
Zeller Street, Chinchilla - 045602-11QLD-RTR
A considerable increase in activity has been observed in the Chinchilla and district area, associated with a rapid increase of the local population (gas & mining and power utility employees, with their families). As such, this intersection's current condition has been risk assessed as unsafe due to no turning or passing facilities, as well as the showgrounds' entrance being too close to the intersection.Widen Zeller Street and Gaske Lane at the intersections, put in turning and passing lanes around the intersections, and moving the entrance of the showgrounds away from the intersectionTotal cost of proposed project is $650,000
Wirrilda Road (Rural Road) - 045604-11WA-RTR
Road is subject to heavy veichle traffic and requires upgrading to carry increased traffic volumes.Road is also used by local school buses.Road becomes very slippery in winter and dusty during summer thus creating hazards for passing treffic such as aboveUpgrade existing surface from gravel to a sealed 7.0 metre wide pavement with 1.5 metre wide gravel shoulders
Payne Street - 045611-11QLD-RTR
Section of street is very rough, and narrow, and no longer servicing town as it shouldReconstruction the street, replace the kerb and channelTotal cost of proposed project is $170,000
Berrinba Link Road, Berrinba - 045642-11QLD-RTR
High traffic loads on Gilmore Road due to the development of the Berrinba Mixed Industry Business Area (MIBA) needs connection to the Trunk Road Network as Gilmore Road is not constructed to carry the expected growth in industrial traffic due to additional economic development to occur within the MIBA.Construction of a new two lane road between Gilmore and Wembley Roads, a signalised intersection and the associated stormwater drainage.Total cost of proposed project is $3,500,000
