Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Cloncurry Bypass
The project involved construction of 3.9 km of new road, 500 metres of widening works, T-intersections at Railway Street and the Flinders Highway and a four way intersection at Sur Hudson Fysh Drive; forming a heavy vehicle bypass of Cloncurry, from the Flinders Highway to Sir Hudson Fysh Drive.
Mutawintji Road (Rural Road). - 044850-11NSW-RTR
The road is unsealed and 6 floodways have been identified as low lying. After rain events the road surface becomes scoured through these floodaways and they often hold water, resulting in the road being impassable for several days until ponded water dries up and scouring can be rectified.Top up gravel in causeways and stabilise the causeways.
Jumble Plains Road (Rural Road) - 044951-11NSW-RTR
Gravel in several causeways washes away with local storm runoff. One causeway on flat ground has water standing for long periods and water soaks into the the gravel which becomes soft.Harden surfaces of various causeways with bitumen seal and some will require concrete edges.
Ashelford Street Temora - 044953-11NSW-RTR
Pavement has failed with severe cracking and breaking up of the sealed surface.Import 100 mm basecourse and lime stabilise pavement
Coolabah Street Temora - 044955-11NSW-RTR
Water from Industrial estate is flooding properties on western side of Coolabah Street because of insufficient drainage structures. Water is overtopping the kerb and flowing into properties scouring the private land..Install 450mm drainage culvert from Coolabah Street into Ironbark St to connect with the Ironbark Street drainage
Freight Rail Upgrades between Sydney and Newcastle - North Strathfield Rail Underpass
The North Strathfield Rail Underpass (NSRU) project constructed approximately 800 metres of dive and tunnel structure to provide a rail underpass under the Main North Line between Sydney and Newcastle in the vicinity of North Strathfield Station and 3.25 kilometres of new and upgraded track between North Strathfield Station and Concord West Station.
Keane Street, Peppermint Grove, WA 6011 - 045148-11WA-RTR
Volume and speed of traffic and failure of drivers to observe traffic signs has raised safety issues. Part of the problem will be addressed by installing a pedestrian access across Bay View Terrace, particularly children's access to recreational facilityInstallation of a traffic island with pedestrian refuge.
Cape Keraudren Access Road (Rural Road) - 045181-11WA-RTR
Heavy corrugation as a result of high traffic volumes, loss of gravel as a result of high traffic volumes and frequent maintenance grader operations, very high ongoing maintenance cost. Lose and corrugated surface presenting a safety issue for motorists particulary vehicles towing caravans as this road provides access to a major tourist attraction and camping facility in the Shire.The proposed works are to continue with the staged sealing program commenced in 11/12 and to be completed in the 13/14 financial year. The 12/13 program will consist of sealing from Chainage 3.00km to Chainage 5.00km. The 13/14 program will consist of sealing from Chainage 5.00km to Chainage 7.00km.
Trida Road (Rural Road) - 045252-11NSW-RTR
Road is impassable in wet weather due to the natural clay surface of the road. Vehicles cannot negotiate the road when wet as they slip off the surface and get bogged.Propose to reform the road and sheet with local gravel to a depth of 100-150mm depending on condition.
