Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

This road is a very busy connection from a state road to the New England Highway. The pavement is failing and needs strenthening by full reconstruction.The old pavement will be excavated and deepened such that a stronger pavement can be contructed. The construction length is 300m
Worthington Lane, Condobolin - 047270-12NSW-RTR
Gravel road on urban fringe has increasing complaints about dust, potholes and rocks staking tyres from residents with increasing expectations, resulting in increasing frequency of maintenance grading. Also increasing pressure for sealing this road as part of heavy vehicle bypass.Top up and reshape gravel pavement and seal. Adjust table drains.
Albert Road (Rural Road) - 047271-12NSW-RTR
Gravel pavement is worn, partly due to increased mining and grain harvest traffic. Depth of wear and damage varies.Place up to 100mm thick layer of crushed gravel on the road in the most worn sections.
Calvale Road Biloela - 047275-12QLD-RTR
Calvale Road is narrow and has substantal road failures in sections along Calvale Road. The road has deterioted to an extent that traffic has been slowed to 80klms to accomodate conditions of the road.Pavement widening overlay and bitumen seal
Thomas Street, Barnsley - 047309-12NSW-RTR
The selected section of the street currently do not have any Kerb & Gutter. Council proposes to construct Standard Kerb & Gutter in both side of the Thomas Street, Barnsley from existing Kerb and Gutter in front of House no 55 to Wellington Street. The purpose of this work is to: - Provide better drainage system in Thomas Street, Barnsley - Improve the community Infrastructure - Provide service that assist in sustainablity - Provide a safe environment for road usersTo construct and improve street drainage system by installing approximately about 380Lm of concrete roll top Kerb & Gutter in both side of the section between house no 55 and Wellington street in Thomas Street, Barnsley.Total cost of proposed project is $454,000
Avoca Bealiba Road Archdale - 047315-12VIC-RTR
Avoca Bealiba Road is a Rural Collector road where the existing concrete bridge, which is 16.7 metres long by 6.5 metres wide (5.7m beween kerbs), has deficient width to accommodate two vehicles passing on a two lane sealed road around a bend. The existing insitu major culverts have also deteriorated to a point requiring strenthening to meet current bridge load standards.The existing bridge rails and kerbs on the existing insitu major culverts are to be removed to allow attachment of new bridge guardrail to provide a clear road width of 6.4 metres. The major culverts will be patched to meet current bridge loading standards and the new bridge will include approach guard rails to standard.Total cost of proposed project is $60,000
Tatyoon Road (Rural Road) - 047333-12VIC-RTR
Failure of road pavement resulting in potholes and cracking. Pavement condition such that travel at speed limit not safe.Rip up existing seal and pavement. Reconstruct pavement and seal to a width of 6.2m wide with 0.6m shoulder.
Naylor Street, Carcoar - 047336-12NSW-RTR
Deterioration of bridge girders resulting in reduced load bearing capacity of bridge.Replace all girders with new timber girders, replace existing concrete deck panels with new timber bridge deck to restore capacity to a minimum of 44 tonne.Total cost of proposed project is $450,000
Marshalls Lane Blayney - 047337-12NSW-RTR
Extensively cracked and rutted pavementOverlay of granular material and insitu stabilisation works to improve road profile and pavement strengthTotal cost of proposed project is $200,000
