Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Patyah Road Patyah - 047081-12VIC-RTR
The road surface is narrow, rough and uneven. This affects the trafficability and safety of the road which is a haulage route for farm trucks.The section of road will be reconstructed for a total length of 1400m. The existing surface will be ripped and crushed and pavement material added to give an overall pavement width of 6.8m. The surface will be prepared and sealed with bitumen for a width of 6.2m A final wearing sealed surface will be applied in December 2012 on the road for a length of 1400m and a width of 6.2m to protect the road formation from water, provide drainage and create a non skid surface
Tapalin Mail Road (Rural Road) - 047091-12NSW-RTR
Gravel surface wearing due to increase of traffic and heavy vehicles. The road serves commercial horticulture and viticulture industries.Gravel construction 8m wide and a 7m seal for a length of 1.0km. This will include grading along the sides of the road to form table drains for drainage flow.
Wandella Road, Cobargo - 047147-12NSW-RTR
Sections of Wandella Road are worn out with large clay patches being exposed. Road becomes slippery in wet conditions.Gravel resheeting
Upper Brogo Road, Brogo - 047148-12NSW-RTR

Nea Siding Road (Rural Road) - 047157-12NSW-RTR
Edge drop along bitumen is becoming dangerously deep, whilst seal is becoming brittle and allowing water to enter pavementGrade up shoulders, whilst importing gravel as required for deep section of edge drop. Improve drainage along rural road, whilst resealing to waterproof the pavement
Bridge Road Walpole - 047175-12WA-RTR
Most of the road between North Walpole Road and the Shire of Denmark is constructed to a 6m seal. This busier section is only constructed to a 3.5m seal. The existing seal is oxidised and there are pavement failures.Widen road to 6m seal and 1m shoulders. Repair failures and reseal road.Total cost of proposed project is $138,245
O'Conner Street Manjimup - 047176-12WA-RTR
Seal has deteriorated through age. Pavement has deformed through service installation, and previous compaction problems.Apply asphalt correcter, repair cracks and minor failures and overlay with asphalt surface.
Windy Harbour Road, Northcliffe - 047178-12WA-RTR
Pavement failures due to insuficient road pavement material, seal failures and water ingress.Reconstruct road pavement and reseal.Total cost of proposed project is $376,590
Hastings River Drive - 047192-12NSW-RTR
Intersection in its current format has insufficient capacity to efficiently and safely cater for current traffic and predicted future growth.Upgrade of current four leg intersection controlled with Stop Signs to a fully signalised intersection including phased turning movements and additional turn and delineated travel lanes. Associated upgrades to services to accomodate the additional infrastructure is also proposed
Ralston Road Manjimup - 047199-12WA-RTR
road severely corrugates and potholes due to lack of gravel.Resheet road to 6m wide with road gravel.Total cost of proposed project is $39,517
