Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Prices Road - 046758-12NSW-RTR
Existing road is unsealed and narrow, with poor drainage.The proposal is to construct road for a length of 435m and a sealed width of 6.0m. Work will include table drains, widening and strengthening the road and provide sealed surface. It also provides for pipes and headwalls for driveways, together with improvement to existing seal.

Road becomes slippery and dangerous during wet weatherProvide a two coat bitumen seal to allow for all weather traffic
Killarney Road (Rural Road) - 046763-12QLD-RTR
Road becomes slippery and dangerous during wet weather.Provide a two coat bitumen seal to allow for all weather traffic.
Talbot Road, Talbot - 046789-12WA-RTR
Narrow shoulders with large drop offs and minimal passing opportunities. Road is a school bus route and regional connector road.Widen formation including shoulders. Improve shallow drains and widen seal.
Konagaderra Road - 046605-12VIC-RTR
Safety problems - This section of the road has a very narrow pavement (approx 4m) and poor shoulders, with a 100kph speed limit. This is a major north-south road link through the northern part of the municipality.Widen the pavement to approx 7m and provide constructed shoulders.Total cost of proposed project is $1,850,000
Highfields Road Highfields - 046766-12QLD-RTR
Highfields road has become a Sub arterial route for Highfields traffic - School,shopping, recreational , social and commuting. Road width is unsuitable for the traffic generated. Pavement is deformed with wheel ruttingImprove drainage, reconstruct with kerb and channel and widening to dual lane where required and reseal surface.
Cawongla Road - Rural Road - 046792-12NSW-RTR
This section of road currently exhibits a sub-standard road formation width and poor ride quality charateristics. There is also insufficient provision of drainage on this section of road.Proposed re-construction works for this section of Cawongla Road include widening and overlay of existing pavement structure and inclusion of drainage structures.Total cost of proposed project is $390,724
Avondale Avenue - Lismore - 046793-12NSW-RTR
This section of Avondale Avenue exhibits very poor ride quality characteristics and has insufficient drainage capacity to service the roads requirementsRoad reconstruction works will include excavation and removal of the existing road pavement, installation of a rock bridging layer and installation of new pavement material. Works will also include installation of piped drainage structures.
McLaughlin Street ( Kawana ) North Rockhampton - 046794-12QLD-RTR
Road pavement is out of shape and is too narrow for heavy vehiclesExtend storm water drainage system,widen existing pavement,new kerb and channel,rehabilitate road pavement with cement stabilising and asphalt sealTotal cost of proposed project is $820,000
Ingram Street ( Kawana ) North Rockhampton - 046795-12QLD-RTR
Road pavement has failed,kerb and channel has sunk does not drain effectivelyRelay new kerb and channel with seepage drains. Rehabilitate road pavement with cement stabilising and asphalt sealTotal cost of proposed project is $410,000
