Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;

Hourigan Road, Morwell - 046975-12VIC-RTR
The existing road pavement requires widening to provide an on road bicycle lane identified in the Latrobe City Council Bicycle Plan. The pavement also requires reconstruction because it is in poor condition due to poor pavement materials and soft subgrade ie road making sand with high Plasticity Index. The condition of the kerb and channel has deteriorated and is unserviceable.The works involve the reconstruction and widening of the road pavement and the replacement of kerb and channel. Stage one will envolve completing the left hand side of the road, whilst stage two will complete the right hand side of the road. The two sides are seperated by a median strip and therefore is easier to manage traffic by splitting the job into two stages.Total cost of proposed project is $1,992,900
Collins Street, Morwell - 046977-12VIC-RTR
The existing road pavement requires reconstruction because it is in poor condition due to poor pavement materials and the lack of pavement depth. The condition of the kerb and channel has deteriorated and is unserviceable.The works involve the reconstruction and strengthening of the road pavement and the replacement of kerb and channel.Total cost of proposed project is $549,718
Sinclair Street South (Urban Road) - 046990-12VIC-RTR
Pavement defects including rutting, potholes and intersection alignment and drainage.Final seal to pavement works in 2011/12Total cost of proposed project is $28,029
Hammond Road - 046991-12WA-RTR
By developments of new residential and comercial property in suburbs of Hammond Park, Aubin Grove, Success and Atweel an average daily traffic on Hammond Road raises up to 18000 vehicles per day that required increase a capacity of existing road.The work proposed are construction of second carriageway on Hammond Road between Bartram and Russell Road - approximately 1.6 KM of road and associated drainage, street lighting work and complete verge and median island landscaping. The Council proposed to construct second carriageway of Hammond Road between Russell Road and Bathram Road to increase safety for pedestrian and cyclist, improve South-North connectivity and improve current environmental condition of road reserve.Total cost of proposed project is $4,200,000
Sayers Road Barratta - 047001-12QLD-RTR
Safety concerns with last remaining sections of rough gravel surface on main connecting road.Reconstruct pavement to a sealed width of 7.6m.Total cost of proposed project is $636,187
Goodooga Langboyd Road - Rural Road - 047035-12NSW-RTR
An existing formed road becomes impassable in wet weather. Agriculture in the area rely on the road network to conduct their business.Gravel sheet this section of road to provide all weather access for the treated section.
Dinyarrack Rd, Serviceton - 047037-12VIC-RTR
The road surface is narrow, rough and uneven. This affects the trafficability and safety of the road which is a haulage route for grain trucks.The section of road will be reconstructed for a total length of 2900m. The existing surface will be ripped and crushed and pavement material added to give an overall pavement width of 6.8m. The surface will be prepared and sealed with bitumen for a width of 6.2m. The job will be done over two years in two sections. A final wearing sealed surface for the first section will be applied in December 2013 on the road for a length of 1500m and a width of 6.2m to protect the road formation from water, provide drainage and create a non skid surface
Old Castle Hill Road (Castle Hill) - 047038-12NSW-RTR
The pavement in this section of Old Castle Hill Road is fatigued with potholes and cracked surface resulting in a unsafe pavement surface for locals and motorists in general.It is proposed to patch the failed parts of the pavement to protect the structural integrity of the road followed by resurfacing the pavement full width to introduce cross fall and safe riding qualityTotal cost of proposed project is $596,767
Highs Road (Castle Hill) - 047039-12NSW-RTR
This section of Highs Road has badly oxidised and major cracking has appeared in the surface. This road is off Castl Hill Road which carries a high percentage of havey traffic.It is intended to undertake crack sealing and minor patching followed by full width resurfacing
Kadnook Connewirrico Road Kadnook - 047040-12VIC-RTR
The road surface is narrow, rough and uneven.
