Project description
By developments of new residential and comercial property in suburbs of Hammond Park, Aubin Grove, Success and Atweel an average daily traffic on Hammond Road raises up to 18000 vehicles per day that required increase a capacity of existing road.The work proposed are construction of second carriageway on Hammond Road between Bartram and Russell Road - approximately 1.6 KM of road and associated drainage, street lighting work and complete verge and median island landscaping. The Council proposed to construct second carriageway of Hammond Road between Russell Road and Bathram Road to increase safety for pedestrian and cyclist, improve South-North connectivity and improve current environmental condition of road reserve.
